My attempt at a control deck. If anyone looks at my other deck/s you will see i'm more of an aggressive creature player. I would like to expand my horizons and try to kill things with spells instead of giant creatures and this build felt like a good transition. I'm still making adjustments and testing the matchups, but so far i've got 2 FNM's under my belt with a 2-2 and 3-1. The kinks are working themselves out so youy may see changes inc.Talking about the sideboard real quick, because i feel like that's where the most flexibility is for change. I like an extra rakdos's return, skullcracks and slaughter games in the control matchup. I have zero problem taking out 2 thoughtseizes for slaughter games once i've determined their win-con, and if i they want to tap out for a mid-late game sphinx-rev skullcrack says 'draw x cards, lose 3 life'. Aggro/creature decks are mostly a matter of adjusting which kill spell to use and adding bile blight and/or spotlight where applicable (god i love killing hexproof things with a doomblade).
Kill things, burn them, rip them from opponents hands early or make them pay the ultimate price (which is apparently $.45 based on mid tcg prices) when the board is safe start playing creatures. I personally try to hold back a few creatures in most matchups, between demon and dragon you dont need many in play to secure a win.

Did you ever consider Sire of Insanity? At least SB it, against control decks it will just give them nothing to cling to.
