Deck discussion for Project Mayham

It's decent, but there are a few things here and there that make me worry about a lack of focus overall. Glissa doesn't make much sense in here. You only have a handful of artifacts and none that really need to be snagged back by her ability. Also Doubling Season, while it will help with a few things, isn't doing that much most of the time. I would try to focus more on Jarad and dumping things into your graveyard. Right now you have a couple of things focusing on other peoples' graveyards, which shouldn't matter most of the time. Myojin for example, is powerful, sure, but costs so much for what it does, and in the long run, won't help you as much as...Splinterfright (for example).

I'm not saying your deck is bad, in fact it's pretty good, but I think you just need to go through it and re-work some things. Most importantly you gotta make sure to keep a focused goal in mind. You should also be careful not to OVER focus the deck, and this is where the fine-tuning comes in. Jarad should be HUGE in a deck devoted to him, but he shouldn't be the only threat. Make him big, keep him around, abuse the crap out of his ability (because it's dirty =P) and give the opponent some other stuff to worry about too.

Two last things.

1) If you can get one, I would put in a Crucible of Worlds in here. Kinda makes Jarad impossible to get rid of.

2) I have a Jarad EDH if you would like to reference it =]

I actually do have a crucible of the worlds, that is a great idea for this. Yeah, I have been looking at glizza and thinking the same thing, she makes a great blocked is the only reason she is still around. Doubling season can be useful but with certain stuff, its not a top priority card. I do like most of my enchantments, I figured they will keep them busy. Myojin needs to stay though, 2 of the players in my playgroup rarely build a deck that doesn't keep their hand full and I figured he would be a good opener for a final strike. I will have check out your deck, see if it can help me hone this deck to a razor edge. Thanks for the help SureWhyNot. Question, which should I replace first with a crucible, glizza or doubling season.

I would suggest throwing in an Elvish Piper, Quicksilver Amulet and Worldspine Wurm.. Maybe Gnaw to the Bone, Spider Spawning, Sudden Spoiling to defend. If you don't mind, would you check out my take on Jarad in EDH?
