Deck discussion for Battle of Wit

You should be using buddy lands instead of the gates. isolated chape, drowned catacombs and glacial fortress. while its only twelve lands you can still get stuck in them and really hurt your game. While with the buddy lands one of each basic land will let them come in untapped making the deck more consistent

SHould have Leyline of Anticipation, and pretty much any other card that gives you instant speed.

Honestly you could save a lot of money by simply cutting the check lands. In the end they aren't going to make a huge difference with this many cards.

That's what I was thinking and I could cut back on some of the tutors also to make it more affordable

I remember reading these when Battle of Wits was in standard. It might be interesting to add more control and fewer tutors (a lot of tutors is still fabulous). Though, I have no clue as to how it would work out.... Well, good luck!
