This deck is designed to be able to attack a diverse meta. We have a pretty strong game against most popular tier 1 - 2 archetypes. Currently trying to find a way to attack the UBw Control matchup mainboard without sacrificing the focus of the deck.I'm testing with just three Read the Bones currently but it seems we might need more help with filtering our draws and gaining card advantage. Magma jet is a consideration here for the Scry 2 effect (I'm hesitant because the two damage is just so underwhelming in standard right now). The removal suite should be modified to line up better with your local meta. There should also be an Urborg in the mana base but I'm brewing with cards I own so that's why you don't see it there. My main worry with this list is that it can be weak to Mastery of the Unseen and decks built around it. Sometimes we're able to race it but more often than not the life they gain is too much to claw back through. Boardwipes are our only real defense if they stick Mastery. Luckily we have Kolaghan's Command to deal with Whip strategies whereas most decks don't have a maindeck answer to artifacts. There probably need to be more concessions to Red Deck Wins in the sideboard. I'm almost ignoring that matchup entirely (aside from Virulent Plague and Anger of the Gods) since it isn't prevalent in my local meta.
Use removal to stop your opponent's threats and hand disruption to clear a path for your dragons. If the opponent manages to deal with our dragons we can buy them back with our three copies of Haven of the Spirit Dragon and three copies of Kolaghan's Command main deck.

Wow, I'm impressed with your explanations in the current meta. I've just started to try to play seriously and plan on attending FNM at my LGS consistently. Would you mind looking at my two decks I came up with using the cards I have (one is a dash R/B, one is a Dragons similar to yours) and offering some suggestions on maybe some more budget-friendly tweaks I could make? If you click my username it'll take you to my decks. :D Thanks!
