BADGER Tribal, yes you heard me right. When you think of the one, most ferocious king of all beasts, which do you think of? Obviously badgers! Leaves those weak dragons and goyfs aside, we have just found an unstoppable force that will stop at nothing to conquer the planet!
Just like any small aggro deck, build up mana and badgers for combat tricks and swing in for lethal!

This is great...unusual tribe (to put it mildly, considering those 4 are the only badgers I'm aware of in all of Magic), & very nicely done. Definitely a +1 in my book! (Also, your use of "technically badgers" in your title made me lol...well played.) :)

Thanks for the feedback! The internet could use more people like you.
Now it needs to face off against a fungus deck and a snake deck in a three way match. Then the cycle will be complete!
Well, now you've done it...the wombat & the ferret are off in a corner, crying (they think they're tribes).
Also, see below...the triad is now is now complete!! :)
im bringing the robots, myr tribal!
How about temur battle rage so you can combo badgers into an actual flat out kill, which I must say, would be the funniest thing ever! Taurean Mauler might be a better changeling just because its cheaper and gets bigger
Great Idea! I just want to imagine the look on someone's face when they lose to a BADGER deck.
With Blood Moon, something like Volcanic Strength (2cmc, +2/+2 & mountainwalk) on your Badger Titan (or even Charging Badger, buffed w/ Become Immense) could be good...
probably needs to be an instant just because of all the removal and in a deck like this, 2 for 1s are a nightmare
Thought about the 2-for-1 thing, but was looking specifically for mountainwalk, & there's no instants that give it...was also thinking that depending on how much removal your opponent is running, a bait-&-switch ploy could be effective. That said, Vines of Vastwood has proven useful in my creature-based decks that run G...a "group buff" might be even better, though. Nothing like sending over a thundering herd of royally p!ssed-off badgers. :)
Since you're running Temur Battle Rage, I think you may be obliged to call the deck; Temur Badger Rage.
That is great! I legit LOL'd. But that is just one card and I don;t think the whole deck revolves around it TOO much. Very creative though!
I think that is too good not to use, that was genuinely beautiful xD
I like the pun, but I liked the old name better
Badger Badger Badger Badger Badger Badger Badger Badger Badger MUSHROOM MUSHROOM!
Wait for it...
AAH IT'S A SNAKE!
This deck and it's comments section made my morning! +1 from this guy. As far as the actual advise for the deck goes I'm going to suggest cutting 4x Changeling Titan for 3x Steely Resolve and 1 copy of Obelisk of Urd.
Unfortunately, Steely Resolve gives shroud, not hexproof...which would mean no immense, raging badgers (honey badger SAD). :'( That is a pretty cool card, though, if you build around it.
Oh right pesky shroud
Could you make a series of weird creature types like this, because you don't usually see tribes like this
Ya pretty much using Adaptive Automaton, Urd and a few changelings you can do any tribal type in the game. However outside of the main tribes of Merfolk, Vampires, Zombies, Goblins, Elves you don't get any Lords which pump all their kind in multiple ways. Which is the main reason to play tribal IMO. This deck just happens to have a level of hilarity that most others wouldn't. Again of course all my opinion.
@stormtide, look up a deck called, "Tribal challenge! Whats yours?" by zaklax13. There you will find a list of "obscure tribes" decks.
I will see what I can do. Tribals are fun!
Love it! I always wondered what I could do with those crazy little bas#@!$.You might think about swapping in a Berserkers' Onslaught for a permanent double strike, or some Aspect of Mongoose for the spell and ability protection...just to add some insult to the injury of badger assault.
What would you have thought of Dictate of the Twin God instead of onslaught? I know it helps them too but it fits in with the surprise style of the deck?
True...I guess if you used it as a flash, and had the ability to kill in one turn it would be good. The only thing you sacrifice if the first strike benefit of a double-strike enchantment. Exposes you to instants that give deathtouch.
Well the situation I'm seeing is as 'Combo' rather than just as a card that helps, it might be more susceptible, but modern wise, its easiest to kill someone in a combo

Looks Great man. How's the play testing going?
Cool deck. Take out those crazy expensive lands and you've got yourself a budget deck.
I for one would really like it if people would stop giving bad deck advise solely for the purpose of budget. If someone has the means of using the best cards, (expensive ones) then that's what they should use. Unless the point of the deck is to be a budget build to play some casual games fine.
Crazy expensive? Have you SEEN beta lands? This is cheap! Cavern may not be but the shocks are
That's just too cute to be true. XD
This is not tribal. It incorporates Rock Badger, which is a beast, not a badger.
It has been erratad(?) To badger beast, so yes, it is tribal
In our hearts, he is a badger like everyone else. He's just a little... misunderstood.
But he's still a beast.
As drakeraenes stated above it has errata to be a badger. Check out the type line on Gatherer. Here's the link. http://gatherer.wizards.com/Pages/Card/Details.aspx?multiverseid=19840
it can have multiple creature trypes in tribal format, as long as they all share one. ehy all need to be rogues, but you can have elf rogue, and human rogue.
