So there's this new card coming out in Worldwake called "Quest for Ula's Temple." (It's in the visual spoiler at mtgsalvation.com:) http://forums.mtgsalvation.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=100482&stc=1&d=1264050327 Anyway, the point is after you get it out, in 3-4 turns with the right cards you should have no trouble playing an ungodly enormous kraken or leviathan from your hand ... at the beginning of EACH end step. Here's how this deck should play: Turn one is playing a Quest for Ula's Temple. Turns subsequently are Brainstorming / Telling Time into a creature topdeck for a quest counter on Quest for Ula's Temple. After Quest for Ula's Temple reaches three quest counters, you unload a hand of some of the largest fatties in Magic. After that, it's clobberin' time. *Cue "Jaws" theme song.* Note: Grozoth can refill your hand with Inkwell leviathans and more copies of Grozoth. Note: Cards that interact well together are also Nemesis of Reason and Isleback Spawn, which are both sideboarded. (For pesky decks that won't be killed by brute force alone.) The decklist shown is 54 cards because Quest for Ula's Temple is in Worldwake, and therefore not yet in the database of mtgvault. I'm sure there are more cards that would fit well in this deck. If you have any ideas, suggestions, or anything, please leave a comment. 4x Quest for Ula's Temple.

maybe you could find room for door of destinies, so your dudes get bigger everytime you play one?

That card would fit well if I were playing the enormous creatures, but sadly Quest for Ula's Temple only allows me to put them into play from my hand.
lol nice! some cards to think about: Denizen of the Deep Deep-Sea Kraken Shrouded Serpent +1
Cool deck! I had wanted to build around this Quest, too, but hadn't gotten around to thinking about it much. One thing is that you want to get the Quest as early as possible, so that you're not stuck doing nothing as you can't cast any of the cards in your hand. I suggest running Dizzy Spell as a way to transmute for the Quest. You may even use it to lessen the damage dealt to you sometimes... Another idea would be to run more non-sea monster creatures. The Quest builds counters off of any creature being revealed, so you could make use of some more utility creatures and chump blockers and yet still hope to get your enchantment online. And really, how many Inkwell Leviathans do you really need to win the game? Some candidates for inclusion that come to mind would be Ophidian or Raven Familiar to add more library manipulation. Or, you could add a little more defense with Wall of Tears or Man-o'-War.
I'm going to edit this a little, maybe it'll work some better. I was thinking of adding Kraken Hatchling as an early defender ... It's a kraken. Jace Beleren is a maybe ... I know he's beaten to death from inclusion in every blue deck, but he's very good in terms of card advantage. I don't know about Raven Familiar ... it doesn't allow you to ecxhange order amongst the top cards of your library. Sage Owl could work as a manipulator. Thank you, everybody, for the comments and +1's.
I like the idea for this deck, you might want to use Kederekt Leviathan or Nemesis of Reason for a control factor.
nice sir!!! i like the dramatic musical background you included! +1 only thing i could think of is ponder but it appears you got your deck rearangin covered.
maybe sideboard lorthos for the lawlz. If i make a deck like this in standard, im doing that. =D
Edit: Sideboard added. Suggestions looked into and used, thank you everyone.
Edit 2: I just realized exactly how amazing Timesifter is in combination with almost everything in the bloody deck. It produces an excellent combination with an Ula's Temple post-activated— Another good use of Brainstorm and Telling time. And lots of extra turns are good too. Timesifter added maindeck +3, sideboard +1.
Just remember that timesifter exiles the card. I mite add this quest to my Krakens of the Sea deck.
YES as soon as i saw this card i started writing down cards to use in a deck. i think if played right this could be the dominant deck in t2. you could prolly cut out some land and maybe a couple of your bigs to add in some counters. after all you wanna protect your quest card. and watch out for vampire decks cause hexmage can reset your your quest too. im gonna be running 4 kraken hatchlings there good blockers early game and its hilarious if you use your temple to drop one for free late game. granted thats only if you got nothing else lol. overall i love it plus 1!
An excellent tribal deck. +1
awesome deck, I've been looking at the quest too. I'm surprised no one thought of using deep-sea kraken since you can also suspend it early on if you draw it and don't have the quest. Also surprised that no one suggested ponder as a good card for messing with you library. Since worldwake's now out you should actually put the quest in and maybe add wrexial. + 1
With all the scry in m11 this deck would function a lot better.
Really awesome! check out mine if you so choose. I really wanted to make a leviathan deck ever since I first saw the original one. I hope you enjoy it as much as I have enjoyed yours! http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=78410
