FORMAT: Standard I've always been a casual player up until recently. When return to Ravnica came out I decided I would try and go with an enchantment based deck and since going to my local Card shop, the players there convinced me to construct a standerd legal deck, so this is what I came up with. Originally I went green and white and attempted to take the agro approach, but I wasn't winning as much as I wanted to so I splashed blue in it to make things a bit more hectic for my opponents. The final product was something that has brought me many wins and left lot's of players scratching their heads. :) It's a bit pricey to build, but if you have the funds, it will assure you a victory if played properly. My oh my do I love me some Hexproof. XD The Setup: The deck is pretty straight forward. Beat down and Lock up your opponents with no Mercy. - Your Invisible Stalkers and your Geist of Saint Trafts are your weapons. Enchant the !@#$ out of them. lol - Keep your opponents locked down with your Detention Spheres and Oblivion Rings. - If you get Ajani out, go for the -3 (Target Creature gets Flying/Double Strike until end of turn) The only true weakness to this deck is board wipe based decks. If you find yourself coming across Bonfire of the Damned or any other type of board wipe, that is what the Negates are for. Rest in peace is your anti-Golgari / anti-Zombie deck weapon. If you can build it, I hope you enjoy! ~Bolt

To be honest ajani could be subbed for silverblade paladin i think that this would a very solid improvement (ajani is flying double strike not lifelink)it does seem like zombies might be able to send you on your Blackfoot and never let up also Geist will die against blue white decks that know what your doing game two (they play Geist an you both sac) http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=408250 My zombie deck

*Fixed the Ajani details. Thanks for pointing out the error.
Did some sample hands then I realized why the deck looks like it has so much good stuff, you cut your lands short 20-21 is a way safer number at 18 you'll throw a lot of hands back and that hurts this deck
Yes, the Deck is complete and playable but not perfected. I found myself having issues getting mana tonight as I was playing. I realized I may need 2 more Temple Gardens and possibly another Hollowed Fountain.
Watch out for sacrifice effects too, they're out there. Also maybe a supreme verdict or two just in case you find yourself getting overrun by a rokdos deck or something. Good Luck man and +1! If you have time, check out my newest deck called Faerie Chemistrickery http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=410376
Thanks for the feedback guys. I'll look into getting some Silverglades. This deck is very agro and tends to do okay against zombies, but the black red zombie deck seems to be the deck winning more and more as the standard tournaments progress.
--Enel39 The sacrifice effects are countered with Sigarda, host of Herons. :)
If you get sigarda online you probably won't most games unless you run more mana then you should for the rest of the deck
I had all these cards and built this deck when I saw this. It rarely gets that far in the game when I used this, I usually won by turn 4-5. Good deck. +1
The problem is not speed it's disruption an the fact is that if somebody adequately disrupts it you just kind of die and turn 4 barter in blood makes you lose I'm also waiting to see what he cuts do the three land
Okay, so i've made some changes before my standard tournament today and wound up getting 2nd place, losing 1st to a Black/Red Zombie deck. I think the changes were pretty good considering. Added 2x Temple Gardens, 2x Hallowed Fountains, removed the Oblivion Rings and 2x Azorious Charms and put them into sideboard along with 1x Ray of Revelation and 2x Feeling of Dread. Tell me what you guys think. I'm pretty happy with the changes.
