Deck Description

A simple burn deck that leverages some good creature abilities to make your burning more efficient and defensible. It's a fun deck.

How to Play

Get a creature out and burn your enemy. Satyr Firedancer lets you burn more efficiently while Young Pyromancer gives you chump blockers. You can swarm a final push with Dynacharge. Dual Casting puts the creatures to work. Kiln Fiend provides absurd damage.

Deck discussion for Searing Satyr

I would rather use Lava Spike, Magma Jet or even something like Dangerous Wager/ Risk Factor instead of Staggershock.

Lava Spike can only damage a player and is absurdly expensive. I did consider Magma Jet though. I didn't know about Risk Factor. The Jump-Start ability could be really useful. Thanks for the suggestion. Dangerous Wager isn't a bad idea, but I can't say my hand is empty enough for that to make sense.

Staggershock is really good in this deck, because it triggers the creature abilities twice for one cast, which is very valuable. Also, if I copy the Rebound with Dual Casting, I can keep it going indefinitely for one mana each turn.

You cast Staggershock' from your hand
You cast the rebound of Staggershock and copy it with Dual Casting
At your next upkeep there will be no rebound Staggershock that you can copy as the version you copied isn't cast from your hand and thus the rebound ability doesn't activate.
Besides, a copy is never cast, so copying anything with Dual Casting doen't activate Kiln Fiend or Young Pyromancer

Hrm, it seems you would be correct. I forgot that rebound had to be cast from hand. Thanks for pointing that out. I did know that copying with dual casting doesn't trigger the abilities, but the Rebound does. That's still 2 triggers for 3 mana, with an additional 2 damage for 1 mana if copied. Not a bad deal. It also interacts really well with Satyr Firedancer. I'd say its still a keeper. Thanks again for correcting me on Rebound though. Upvoted you.
