In honor of some rereleased cards, I constructed a quick and brutal reanimation deck. Enjoy!

I don't think dark ritual is required here as you do not have any cards with high CMC to fully utilize the effect. Other than that, I'll strongly recommend more strong creatures instead of cheap low cost creatures. The whole point of reanimation or graveborn is playing strong creatures with high CMC from the graveyard that would normally be hard to cast from the hand.

well Dark Ritual allows you a reanimation on turn 1, but besides that it allows you 3 Demigod's on turn 2 which is - i think - his intention here by playing a buried alive asap
Reya is correct. Dark Ritual helps ensure that it will be a turn 3 win at latest. The weak creatures do serve a purpose. Tyhpoid Rat is a touch out of place, but I figured it would be good to have a nasty deturent for chump blocking in the unlikely scenario that the combo doesn't execute right away. The Bloodghasts are cheap and relentless to keep the opponent off balance, and are a great candidate for sacrificing with Diabolic Intent.
