Tezzeret Is Back And Bastardly. Him and his BFF Jace, The Car Payment are here to wreck havoc in a standard type 2 tournament near you. Heres a List That Shows Much Promise. Will Be Back Tomorrow With Updated Report Around Midnight Posting its Record and A Revision of what decks i played and Key plays during those games. Until Then, Have a Good Day! Metagame Rundown For Fridays FNM. Round 1 Played a Homebrew Artifact Destruction Deck, Pretty much blew them out with 5/5's somehow thanks to jace the mindsculptor. 2-0 On the Back of a 5/5 Plague Myr making Quick 2 turn Clocks for 2 Straight Games. 2-0 Round 2 Opponent played a goblins deck. spreading seas is an allstar in the goblins matchup which made it a snap side in card. both games i kept a double black zenith hand and won on the heel of 5/5 prophetic prisms game 1 and jace ultimate game 2. 2-0 Round 3 Ah...The Infamous White Knights Deck thats been the buzz of a few local players here. Took the L again to this deck in a close Set. 2-1 Win for White Knights 2nd "Knight" In a Row. Game 1 went according to play but post sideboard i dont know what happened really. bad draws and a critical misplay in game 3 cost me the set. * Note To Self; Add a 4th prophetic prism because their that good when your getting color screwed. 1-2 Round 4 Played Another Homebrew Deck, This time, Mono Blue. Grand Architect and Kuldotha Forgemasters to bring out blightsteels myr battlespheres, wurmcoil engines, and steel hellkites. The man piloting this deck is a friend of mine and a very skilled player. i took game 1 on the back of a lucky double wurmcoils on turns 4 and 5. Game 2 showed me less promise keeping a sketchy hand with a prism to cantrip into something useful. i was on my heels most the game using a contagion clasp to proliferate at end of turn for what seemed an eternity until his steel hellkite got the better of the clasp. fortunately i topdecked jace the mindsculptor and bounced the blightsteel colossus then a zenith knocking alot of Architect mana out of the game proved my saviour as i topdecked inkmoth and prayed the opponents topdeck wasnt a flyer. fortunately it wasnt and inkmoth nexus won the ensuing turn. 2-0 round 5 Kuldotha Red. did i mention im sick of playing against goblins with control variants? their soo annoying. game 1 i got completely obliterated by the so-called "Nut draw". i quickly scooped up on turn 3 knowing nothing was gonna save me. i quickly busted out my sideboard and auto included the spreading seas and every piece of removal i could find and boarded out all 4 counters 1 jace and 1 tezz. Unreal Draws Games 2 and 3 Won me both of those Games, Apparently Goblins isnt good when their only 3 lands all game are spreading seas and their facing down wurmcoil engines. 2-1 (Much Offense ment by this Statement i dont care if you think im a dick. Screw red and all its players. i hate all red decks alike, how can you like a color where its only wins come on turn 2 3 or 4 then just have no steam the longer the match goes? and ive only seen the nuts draw happen like once per Match. very inconsistant. Pick a Better Color Red Mages, You'll be thoroughly Dissapointed for the remainder of kuldotha reds existance. like cool you won on turn 3...haha suck a dink you lost games 2 and 3 on turn 12 or 13 because all 3 of your mountains got spreading seas'd? play a real deck.) 4-1 Record At The Local FNM 4th Spot on tiebreakers, This Tournament was a special give away tournament where the top 4 recieved a kth of the hammer...which i was quick to trade for a Thrun. Fun deck overall, I would very much recommend it at your next local FNM. (Unless you play red, you can piss off.)
