The first step is to ask yourself if you want to play it like an Agro deck or as a Combo deck. What I mean is: do you want to push pressure your opponents like total or assemble a combination of cards that win?For example: if you played 20 mountains and 40 lightning bolts, your combo would be cast six bolts (18 is often leathal in Modern).
