I'm pretty sure that Eldrazi's "when put into graveyard shuffle into library" effect happens instantaneously. That means cards like suffer the past and haunting echoes won't work, even though suffer the past is an instant. Sadistic Sacrament is perfect for exiling those pesky Eldrazi, but I would reccommend throwing a few Leyline of the Voids in there 'cause they just totally destroy the eldrazi advantage
Wrong. It's an ability which means it goes on the stack just like anything else which allows you to use instants and abilities in response. Relic of progenitus, suffer the past, haunting echos, and ravenous trap are all ways to devastate eldrazi.
Just one problem: Ulamog, The Infinite Gyre. "If Ulamog, The Infinite Gyre would be put into your graveyard from anywhere, its owner shuffles Ulamog their graveyard into their library." If a Suffer the Past isn't in your hand immediately, you've got an issue with this guy, not to mention your Traumatizes can be nullified by Ulamog if he happens to be one of the discarded. But if your friend has managed to have a Eldrazi Monument in play, there's the issue of getting rid of Ulamog, especially if he can summon Spawn tokens out the wazoo. Yes, he can be milled, but you'd better make sure you can take out his Ulamog. Eradicate would do nicely to neutralize this massive nuisance.
Also I would recomend a relic of progenitus, or ravenous trap. Otherwise 8/10
i agree with enthusiast as far as the leylines and sadistic sacraments. i put them in my mill deck and they devastate. please look at my stuff, including my own mill deck.
What about Bojuka Bog? You could also try find a way that will make them draw their entire library in one go, or Mind Sculptor-ultimate them...
I like your idea... so much that i've expanded on it a little.... that being said here's a little side note before you go bashing my idea.... in the past, regardless of my mana curve, i've gone with a 65%=spells/creatures/artifacts 35%=lands ----------- 100% kk... so there's my breakdown... here's your new 60 card deck: spells 4x suffer the past 4x haunting echoes 4x traumatize 4x tome scour 4x sadistic sacrament 3x dark ritual 4x dampen thought creatures 2x kalitas, bloodchief of ghet 4x haedron crab 4x echo mage 2x anowon, the ruin sage lands (this is the important bit... pay attention) 2x vesuva 4x drowned catacomb 4x underground sea 4x tainted isle 4x sunken ruins 1x cabal coffers AND... since cabal coffers will NOT work on any of the above lands.... 2x urborg, tomb of yawgmoth you'll notice i added a couple of mana explosion cards in there.... cabal coffers and dark ritual you'll definately find these to your liking, considering you have a few very high mana cost items in the deck... try this out and let me know how you like it... i'll wait for feedback before i buy the cards i'm missing ~CS85
i dont have the cards needed to test out your version but it does seem like it work very well although i would like to keep my deck in standard
