Built for more casual play due to not being legal in modern and standard. I usually play in a group battle of 5-6. I needed something to protect my creatures from Flying attacks as well as the added bonus of a +1/+1 and basically indestructibly from the Umbra. My deck had to grow fast as I quickly become the target of most players for my consistency and power around turn 4-5. Doubling Season was very expensive and I have enough to put all four copies in the deck but the casting cost is not low enough to really make it an option. Primal Vigor is a cheaper version of Doubling Season so for the cost conscious player x4 of Primal Vigor might be a better option.
As with all Elf Decks I play it fast out of the gate. Though not a true mana ramp deck with Llanwar Elves but by turn two to three I get the mana ramping even if for some reason I don't pull enough basic forests. Bramblewood Paragon is usually the first to drop but only after I can drop it with the Spider Umbra to eliminate instants like Lightning or other destroy target creature spells. Same goes for my Ezuri, Renegade Leaders. I drop when I have enough to regenerate. Bramblewood provides the +1/+1 to all Elf Warriors after so every Token elf after him is a +2/+2. By turn 4-5 after an Elvish Promenade or two the board is packed. I use the untap target elf/creature for mana ramping and pumping with Ezuri. Look out flyers... using the abilities of Jagged-Scars and Greatbow Doyen along with the untap elf/creature. I can often drop both flying and player in one attack if they have more than one flyer. Ex. Jagged-Scars with 6 elves on the battle field. Jagged Scars 6/6 + tap/untap combo x2-3flyers a player controls +added bonus of Greatbow Doyen( damage to creature = damage to player's controler + the +1/+1 bonus of Archers) = 14-21 damage to player. Board wipes can usually be cured by the Ezuri, Regenerate or Spider Umbra. Possible challenges are a control deck that targets creatures or counters spells. But Elvish Promenade multiplies and is not considered a creature spell :)

Good for building up with +1/+1s but for protection from flying, might I recommend Lys Alana Bowmaster, Thornweald Archer, or Dwynen, Gilt-Leaf Daen. For maybe other methods of +1/+1s, try cards like Curse of Predation, Gaea's Anthem, Decree of Savagery. If you want more elf tokens try out Lys Alana Huntmaster and Voice of the Woods Those are just my suggestions

Thanks, those are all great suggestions. I will take a look at them and see if I can't test play these different cards. I agree flying has always been a challenge for my green decks. I kinda have to hit hard and fast before the 4/4 flyers can get going.
