Deck Description

I know one of Zendikar's goals was to make land more a interesting, but I think I did a better job. This deck will kill you with land. And think about land is the ultimate card type in the whole game. Its free each turn. and only a handful of cards can destroy them.

Deck discussion for The very Earth is your enemy

I think you are on the right track for this type of deck but you are really missing out by not adding in the manlands from Zendikar. Also having Valakut is pointless, you will only ever get to kick that off 3 times and that is if you draw all 8 of your snow-cover mountains.
Mutavault might be a good add also.

"manlands "? You have a point about Valakut I just wanted to avoid too many creature-land in the deck If all the lands a creatures a solid burn deck would be suddenly became a land destruction deck too.

Manlands is just the name given to lands that can turn into creatures like "shock lands" are the name given to the Ravinca lands that deal 2 damage to you if you want them enter untapped or "buddy lands" for the core set lands that need another land to come into play untapped.

Oh I see so Manlands are like Blinkmoth Nexus and the like... cool good to know... Still runn the risk of a burn deck beating me senseless... oh, well if any deck was perfect no one would experiment.

Yea I agree, you can't beat every deck type out there. Still this would be a fun causal deck to play in multiplayer or a team game if you have some buddies to protect you early game.

true. and with Valakut out of the deck I don't need nearly as meny snow lands in the deck, making room for the manlands.

I've got a question about another deck I've made could you take a look at it?
