I was hoping to create a deck to utilize training grounds in a few ways. I'm going to be making this deck IRL and will see how it plays. Hopefully that will give me a better idea of what I can do to it to make it more fun and effective! :D Comments are very much appreciated. My sideboard contains cards that I was thinking of throwing in / the win condition with Spawnsire. Birds and Cultivate are to increase mana and also mana fix early if I don't have the right colors out - Prismatic Omen makes all of my lands able to level up any creature any way I like, especially after I get a Training Grounds out and the costs to level get more specific. Fauna Shaman along with the draw spells should help me get the creatures that I need, and Asceticism is to put out if I get tired of my creatures getting removed. Echo Mage can level fast if there's a Training Grounds out, and can copy the boost spells. I originally was going to put in some other spells, including Explosive Vegetation (UU3G: Put 6 lands into play tapped) and I can also use it to copy my opponents spells :) Amulet of Vigor was a potential if the ramping was to be prominent. Hada Spy Patrol and Beastbreaker of Bala Ged are the main hitters. Now that I think about it, I'm not sure if they're enough, but the power is there, and with TG, they become cheap, powerful creatures. Spy Patrol has the chance to be a 3/3 shrouded unblockable by turn 3. The Sphinx is straightforward, with TG, his ability reads "U: Draw a card and beef me up." The Viral Drakes get to proliferate any counters I put out, and with one -or even two- Training Grounds out, the counters climb fast. Any thoughts, from anyone? -My First Deck on MTG Vault- 4/28/11: This is what I've been thinking. 5/1/11: Changed around a lot. Still looking for ideas.

i have been looking over some of your decks and i seems you have the same problem i had when i started to "invent" decks! a focus on MANA... i created decks with various ways to get infinite mana, but i had problems using it.. what i am saying is why use spawnsire when you can "fireball" (or other examples) when you have infinite mana the enemy should already be dead.. my personal favorite is to remove their library and use myr matrix to get all the creatures you want.. i have been playing magic since onslught and i still havent perfected my first infinite mana deck.
