Training Grounds and Gilder Bairn counter manipulation, with a few win conditions to work for: Ideally, you're trying to get a TG out as soon as possible. Gilder Bairn equipped with a Paradise Mantle becomes infinite counters on anything with one already on it. Joraga Treespeaker is for ramping as well as a combo with Joraga Warcaller. Both the Warcaller and Feral Hydra are finishers after one of the other combos is reached: Joraga Treespeaker with an Umbral Mantle and an active Training Grounds. That one is for infinite mana. Spawnsire is straightforward, if you manage to get it out and have two TG, you bring in the sideboard of Eldrazi. Everflowing Chalice for growing mana ramp. Thought to incorporate the Filligree Sages + TG + Khalni Gem infinite mana combo, but I felt like it was doing too much and I needed the space for other cards. Jace, the Mind Sculptor works pretty well in this deck, but sadly, I have none of them. So this is a more budget-friendly version than with the JTMS. Badda-bing, badda-boom. Any insights you care to offer?

I don't see Spawnshire getting too much use in this deck. It would free up your sideboard to put... more reliable things in. I think your deck wants as much mana ramp as possible, so I would add some Llanowar Elves because the synergy with Warcaller can make Llanowar useful later in the game.
