He'll have upwards of 12 Locus lands on the battlefield...
yea I get how the locus works, but hes relying on a lot of time. this is meant for a long term game, and with only four fogs to do any stalling. And with 16 of his total mana not being Locus, it looks like you might be waiting awhile to get them. Im not saying its a bad idea, just too slow and no defense for what it needs to do. I do like the Stonehorn/Closet combination though
Yeah, it is a bit slow. He also has Druid's Deliverance which prevents damage, but there's nothing to populate.I honestly don't know why Growing Ranks is here, either. Yes, you can make a copy from Seance, but that's it. Other than that, Growing Ranks is useless. I would take it out and add more prevention. Throw in Holy Day or something similar.
You should also add "Awakening Zone". It goes good with populate and help you with mana
i have stone horn dignitary in there so i can make them skip their attack step and then i have populate stuff in their so if my stone horns die, i can seance them, and then growing rank them every turn and keep them from attacking, the only way they could win is by burn.
Sure, if you can get it to happen just right. If you can't get the right cards, then you're screwed. :(
