A common wall of blood/fling deck that is as budget as i could make it with the cards to still allow the potential of a turn 1 win. The name comes from the main card of the combo as well as a common term from another card game, Hearthstone. If you do not know the term OTK means one turn kill.
Opening hand for a turn 1 win.Swamp, 2 Simian Spirit Guide, Wall of Blood, Rite of Flame, Dark Ritual, Fling or Rite of Consumption, Lightning Bolt or Taste of Blood or Bump in the Night or ShockThis set up requires you draw a card on turn one, as is apparent there are 8 cards required for the turn one win.To start play and tap a Swamp, then exile the two Simian Spirit Guides, you now have 2 red mana and a black mana, then play Rite of Flame, so your mana pool is now 3 red and 1 black, then play dark ritual, so your mana pool is now 3 red and 3 black. At this point it depends on whether you have Fling or Rite of Consumption and what instant or sorcery you have to ping their face for damage. The cards you have determine how you will use your mana to pay for Wall of Blood, after this you will have some combination of 3 mana. Now use Wall of Blood's ability to pay 17-19 life, depending on how much damage your 1 mana instant/sorcery will deal, making Wall of Blood a 17/19-19/21. Now use Fling/Rite of Consumption, leaving you with 1 mana, to sacrifice Wall of Blood and deal 17-19 damage to your opponent. Lastly, use any of the 1 mana cost instants/sorceries to deal 1-3 damage to your opponent. The odds of getting the appropriate hand for a turn one victory are slim. However, it is not unlikely to have this combo up and win by turn 3-5. Magma Jet is the only card that does not apply to the turn one win condition, but it is nice you have the ping damage and scrying if you did not win on turn one.
