Deck discussion for Samut Brawl

You need some more land, my dude

20 lands in a 60 card deck is normal. Also the majority of my deck is 1-3 cost that a pretty low mana curve. Also Pathto Mettle will transform into a land pretty easily.

1/3 lands in edh is passable with the cheap mana rocks and ramp but with the standard card pool I think you are going to miss your 3rd land drop a lot more than you like with only 20, and most of your 2 drops are removal and not advancing your board. I don't mean any offense, just offering advice

I believe 20 lands is very average but for much more aggressive decks and almost entirely made up of dorks and rocks. A mid-range like this should be seeing 24 land at least, especially if you want to get Samut out by turn 4 or 5

Thanks for the advice but i have play tested on tapped out like 10 times and never once had a mana problem. Also personally i dont enjoying keeping a hand that doesnt start with three lands so i might miss a turn 4 land drop but almost never a turn 3.

That is fair, and I suppose missing a land drop isn't too bad since you got enough low drops to keep your board stable.
