Deck Description

Best Opening Hand:
At least
1x Forest
1x Arbor Elf
1x Utopia Sprawl/Wild Growth
4x Arbor Elf/Utopia Sprawl/Wild Growth/Instill Energy
Turn 1
Forest, Arbor Elf
Turn 2
Utopia Sprawl, untap with Arbor Elf, Arbor Elf and another Utopia Sprawl
Turn 3
Utopia Sprawl, Utopia Sprawl, untap, untap, 11 floating mana
Hopefully draw an X mana cost Hydra.

Even better hand and draw assuming you draw on your first turn.
Starting hand including the draw so 8.
1x Forest
1x Arbor Elf
3x Utopia Sprawl/Wild Growth
3x Instill Energy

For plan A
9th card: Instill Energy
10th card: Utopia Sprawl/Wild Growth

For plan B
9th card: Utopia Sprawl/Wild Growth
10th card: Mistcutter Hydra

For plan C
9th card: Utopia Sprawl/Wild Growth
10th card: Gelatinous Genesis

Turn 1
Forest, tap for Arbor Elf.

Turn 2a
Tap forest for Utopia Sprawl/Wild Growth, tap Arbor Elf to untap the upgraded forest, tap forest for two mana, get one Instill Energy and one Utopia Sprawl/Wild Growth, untap the elf to tap the forest and you get three mana to get another Utopia Sprawl/Wild Growth and two more Instill Energy cards, repeat place the last Instill Energy and you get 11 floating mana.

Turn 3a
Tap the forest for four then put the last Utopia Sprawl/Wild Growth and tap the untap for 28 floating mana.

Turn 2b/c
Same but the last step is two Utopia Sprawl/Wild Growth and one Instill Energy.

Turn 3b
Tap the forest then untap and tap for 25 mana so a 24/24 haste protection blue no counter.

Turn 3c
Exactly the same with Gelatinous Genesis instead of Mistcutter Hydra. Giving you 12 12/12 oozes.

I like C best B better but A is the extreme hope you enjoy please like and comment.

How to Play

Fast enchant lands and untap them for godly amounts of mana to put out Hydras. Done. The odds of A are 1 in 100 billion and B 1 in 25 billion and C 1 in 50 billion so good luck with that.

Awesome concept but I think you need a bit more evasion because right now I can see Control and fliers going right over your head

Spiffing deck! Check out my similar mana ramp and hydra's deck.

http://www.mtgvault.com/spiffmeister/decks/arbor-surprise/

It's insane. Last time I had a turn 5 attacking 26/26 hydra and 2 13/13 hydra's. With trample. My opponent had 40 life (for some irrelevant reason) and he still went down easily.

This is looking an awful lot like my Hydroar deck now :p (http://www.mtgvault.com/spiffmeister/decks/v-hydroar/) with the exception of some specific cards. I think you need more trample and a backup plan though. You've got more than plenty X-cost hydra's, which you can easily switch for more support cards. Or even add Overgrowth while you're at it :-)

I've got 2 Rancor's running and 2 Aspect of Mongoose's, which are deadly cheap and effective. Nylea is a very useful critter as well. But you shouldn't underestimate Gelatinous Genesis either. I had 7 creatures attacking last game in turn 5 or 6, for over 70 trample damage, with a shrouded Nylea guaruanteeing my win, whatever happened.

The trick to these decks is not getting 1 or 2 huge creatures out, but getting them out in unstoppable conditions, and thén some. And thén some more.

Wow, big changes! Especially Death's Presence is a mighty fine choice, I just might steal that idea :-) Let us know how this deck runs?
