A fellow MtG player was playing an 'Enter the Infinite' deck last Friday, although I didn´t get to see it in action or found out what cards belonged in it, I decided to construct my own version.NB! I have absolute 0 experience with this, and it´s 100% untested, but if it fares well until next Friday, then I´ll start collecting the missing pieces Constructive criticism is welcomedMISSION ABORTED: I WON´T BE BUYING THIS - TOO EXPENSIVE :(
Okay, the main idea is for you to draw your entire Deck, while having either Omniscience or its little brother Dream Halls on the field, and then playing Emrakul. There are other ways to do this - like Show and Tell and Intuition. Show and Tell can go off 1st. turn, you´ll need a god-hand, but I think it is doable, even with Mull´s. You´ll need: Ancient Tomb, Lotus Petal, Show and Tell, Omniscience, Enter the Infinite/Emrakul and any two other cards. If the Turn 1 kills fizzles, or your don´t have the right cards, then the deck is designed to go nuclear within a couple of turn. Stall your opponent with counterspells to finally tutor Intuition/Show and Tell or Ancient Tomb (if your are in need of Mana to cast) with the 'Transmute' abilities from Drift of Phantasms or Tolaria West.When/if you draw your entire Library, play Elixir of Immortality to get your GY back and gain life, then play Spellbook. Around this time in the process of making this, I thought 'Psychosis Crawler' (it may be added later) but I went a different route; You should have Omniscience out by now, so cast Emrakul and Lightning Greaves and a possible turn 2 win is potential. There´s another infinite combo using Arcanis and Mind over Matter. Use Lightning Greaves on Arcanis and get a M o M to draw your entire deck. Again I thought Psychosis Crawler... hmm..., better add one.Laboratory Maniac is also designed to combo Enter the Infinite, I just need to find the space for Gitaxian Probe. You could also Transmute to find him.

Not sure I would try and play against this deck more than 1 time. Nasty stuff.

Thanks, man. I haven´t tested it yet because I was ill last Friday, I want to build this (over the course of many many... many (!) months) =) I have proxied this deck for now - Hope it can win me a least two MU´s next Friday
I think you will do good. I love several of those cards in the deck...and you put them to good use. Like the multiple win conditions...I can't seem to pull that off much with the stuff I build. Show and Tell, Force of Will...wish I had 4 of each. I see how Intuition is nice...but I never really loved it, you never seem to get the card you want (but you will still usually get a good card). Maybe you could put in the Probe or Crawl.
I'd really like Gitaxian Probe in here, but I just don´t know what to replace.Yeah, Show and Tell - $60 for a single copy, and I think FoW is about the same. They will be the last cards I buy, and it´s only one card per month, some time in the distant future ;P It may also come to 1 of those per every second month, for now I´m just glad that my shop allows proxies =D
Thanks for the kind words, by the way =D
Yeah, an old Inquest magazine I have from 2001shows both of those cards around 5 bucks each. If only I could go back in time. I wouldn't buy gold: I would buy Lion's Eye Diamond and Force of Will. Hundreds of them.
Hahah, yeah, I know how you feel, it would´ve been nice to own a DeLorean right about now ;P
Dream Halls decks are one of those silly things I can never hate, my first combo deck had been the Conflux version, so much fun. When I tried Omniscience I wound up doing it with the Academy Rector and Living Wish variant, it was surprisingly enjoyable. I may or may not have gone with that simply because it was enjoyable convoluted...Enter the Infinite and Lightning Greaves make for surprise wins, I quite like it.
Thanks, Jens =) It´s not the most stable deck I´ve built, but on paper it looks fun. It´s one of those "Fizzles or Functions" kind´a decks, but I´ll tell ya' .. You feel like a god drawing your entire deck ! Just sitting there with your hands full, haha. If I ever get a hold of all the cards, then they´d have to become double sleeved, imagine that =O
Ookay so, I´ve decided not to save money for buying this - it will have to stay proxy'ed, the reason is simple; lack of cash. However I am going to assemble my Stax Pox over time, that will probably be my last deck to collect, so if any of you could offer advice, tip and tricks of the trade, that would make me very happy =)
