Hiya Sure =) Awesome deck as always. The only 'advice' I can offer is an addition of "Forget" - a blue hardcore discard spell and/or Mindcrank for when to add insult to injury ]:3But then again, I wouldn't know what to replace, heh Best of luck, and enjoy summer :D
Hey man, sorry for the late answer... Yeah, I know of what you speak =) He is, though, a mana producer to boot, when Heritage is in play, but I was thinking of replacing him with 4 x Deathrite Shaman's I have sitting in my drawer. Thanks for the comment =) I'll be heading over to your decks shortly
On another note - I think Jaya is the perfect Commander for this - she is a near-perfect fit for any burn EDH imho. I'd say go with her ^_^
At first it sounded complicated, but it made sense when it's read ^_^ Sounds like something a level 3 Judge would've thought of, bravo.
As JensDagon already suggested, a Unwinding Clock, but with Mycosynth Lattice creates nice shenanigans for you (although, watch out for Imi Statue!)btw I really like your house rule, that anything Legendary could fit as Commander. I'm going to pitch that idea with those I play with =)On the deck, I think it's a great idea, and Burgeoning would fit right as rain - moar land drops !You get a +1 from me for sheer ingenuity =)
Looks good, my friend =)There's an infinite combo using Reiterate. If you can get cards, you could make unlimited Storm count. Here's How:Ruby Medallion + Reiterate + Seething Song = Infinite mana, infinite storm if you'd like to add a GrapeshotThat works because Ruby Medallion also reduces the buyback cost by 1. So; you cast Seething Song for 1{R} - 5 mana flotaing. Use Reiterate, which now costs {R}{R}, pay the buyback cost of 2. 1 mana floating. Copy Seething Song, 6 mana floating, cast Reiterate again, and rinse, wash repeat. Now you've got one helluva Fireball / any x Spell
I've made my own version of Maralen, called 'Marley and Friends' - Credit goes to you, Quasi =) Thanks for the inspi. I'll link to this gem asap.I keep stumblin' though. Whenever I see this, I want to advise you to add 'Skullclamp'... then I re-read Maralen and get embarrassed, haha.Mine's here I you want to peek =) http://www.mtgvault.com/blckfirphoenx/decks/marley-and-friends/
I've had the pleasure to battle a similar Mana-less Dredge and it was an awesome combo-deck to loose to. Gave me a helluva lot to think about, since it was the first time encountering it, I decided to Extirpate his Golgari Grave-Troll's but he returned even from that. His version had a ps of 'Mindbreak Trap' - Isn't that an auto-include in ML-Dredge?
Yes. Glorious mayhem ]:-3
Just by looking at this, gave me a headache, haha, I love it !Honestly I wouldn't know diddly as to what to add, but I think it's one of those rare EDH, that really shine once it gets going. Good job and a plus one from me =)
I've seen this irl and it just works, but I have to ask... It seems as though Master Transmuter is a vital key for this to work, and since you're running U/W how about a few counter-spells? What would you do if you run into a Path to Exile on your Transmuter?
I still think that this is a pure beast to play against. If you're adamant on pulling it apart, how about keeping this as a back-up? Turn 3 Beastmaster - turn 4: Activated B. A. - Turn 5: Target two players looses from being annihilated by buff weenies, GG lol
This owned 2 other EDH players utterly, I was one of them and I can tell you other folks, it shreds like nothing I've seen before. When this baby starts to roll... dang it's well put together.Only thing I would add, is: Oran-Rief, the Vastwood since it also hits most of your white critters as well =)Good job, man.
Thanks, DTW =) I saw someone do some math on M:tG once, but I couldn't keep up, and I've searched a bit since, but with no luck. I believe it was a Sligh Primer. I could read, no worries there, but to *understand* the reason behind all of it... nope. No dice.I hope that 'learning by doing' will eventually get me some xp, heheAgain, thank you :)
In addition to the Candelabra and Friends, how about 'Kaervek's Torch'? A nice X-burn spell, which costs 2CMC more for your opp's to affect?
Hi both of you =)I've asked you once before, can't remember where and when, so I thought I'd bump your deck, Jens, by asking again - Hope you don't mind :-/Where do you find the math to calculate just how much the given CMC's have to be? I've tried searching for it, without any luck. Do you have a formula or is it backbone-Esquire autodidact?
Congratulations on your new found parenthood, gotta love dogs - My wife and I have a French Bulldog and two cats of mixed breeds ^_^We actually met a Golden today, all black and healthy lookin' - except it pulled too hard on its leash and wheezed for breath. I advised the owner to get a harness also for more control.Puppies can be a handful, but the joy you get in return is worth everything ^_^ Once again, congrats on your new addition to the family
I'm glad I could help =)Back in the day, Squee was being used for the 'Masticore' as fuel for the beast. Don't be fooled by the Masticore's meager looks, it will win you games.
No problem :)Also, if you would like to earn 'Reputation Points' that is done by giving good advice on other peoples creations. That - in most cases - the user of the deck will respond by giving you some feedback and so fourth :)
