Hi Dudes and Dudettes =) I´m making a call of need! Next Friday there´s going to be a first Legacy Tourney at my shop and I plan to participate - either with this, or my Legacy Dstorm.

I was thinking of
- 4 Bramblewood
- 4 Imperious
+ 4 Doubling Season
+ 4 Meekstone

How does that sound? I won´t be able to playtest before game day - HELP ! =)

Personally I know your feelings toward Blue, also my least favorite color. Although, something Blue is exceptionally good at is Card Draw, so why not utilize that advantage? Especially "Whispers of the Muse" come to mind, and from the look of it you can buy it back without breaking sweat. "Stroke of Genius" isn´t bad either or the famous "Gitaxian Probe." To-and-thro a very awesome deck, Ded !

The other reason for commenting, is that my local shop is holding a legacy tournament on Friday, and I´ve been more-or-less invited, so I need your advice on my Legacy Dragonstorm-Deck. Well, the SB actually and tell me what I should switch if I want the SB to go into the MD? I´m totally out of my League here, since I never played any sort of MTG competitive play. Do you have some friendly Words of advice or Wisdom?

If you still are in dire need of mana, try looking up "Scorched Ruins" - I've semi-played with the notion to use it in an all artifact deck =)

'Academy Ruins' will help you if you´re forced to sacrifice your artifacts =)

I´m ashamed to admit it, but my versions of the aforementioned card, are... yes... proxies...
To buy a playset of Mana Crypts, or to buy a small automobile, that is the question

I´m not an expert on EDH decks, but I think you could benefit a great deal from "Vesuva" to go with the Urza lands, also - I´m not a 100% certain on this - but "Mana Crypt" is downright insane. I use 4 x in a 'Spanish Inquisition' deck and its nuts!

I'd look into Manamorphose - a great mana fixer plus a free draw and potential Threshold trigger w. Fledgling. Very nice job, man :D

You could get a more consistent 1.st turn kill by adding Gitaxian Probe and/or Street Wraith. The lifeloss is nothing compared to 20 direct damage ]:-)) This is a good deck as it is, though

Thanks Again, SoulSlicer =) I haven´t got all the necessary Cards yet, but I´m very slowly geting there =) I found a really good deal on the Kokusho´s some time ago, and most of whats left needed are on their way.
Although your DStorm is a Little different, I really like it - you did a fine good job, sir !

Thanks man =) It took some serious beatings in its early stages, but via testing and modifications I somehow made it Work. Of course, I couldn´t have done it without the help from MTGVault, that´s for sure =)
Back to this gem. If you are in need of early mana, then Simian Spirit Guide will clear that path for you, but I totally understand if you want to keep it this way, it looks really bad ass with all the dragons, and I´m jealous of your Thundermaw´s. Where I buy Cards they´re 24 bucks a piece and that its just too much for me. My advice; keep them until Judgment Day, then trade ´em for a seat in the high heaven´s if you believe in that stuff ;-)

Hi DW - do you still play this? You could *cough* In Response *cough* mana ramp/card draw yourself into a Manamorphose + Nix and hose Mindbreak Trap ]:-))

Could also be cool to see a SB to this gem.

Not a bad take on a Dragonstorm, SoulSlicer - I really dig it =)
Is it on purpose you´re keeping it mono-Red? Otherwise there´s a ton of ways to build Dstorm decks.
