Deck Description

A modern-legal, admittedly rare-heavy deck designed around Planeswalkers Nissa, Nature's Artisan and Sorin, Grim Nemesis.
Combining the similar abilities of Nissa and Sorin is what inspired this demanding deck that runs three colors and has many expensive (to cast) cards in it. But with 24 lands, the Fertile Ground and the mana creatures, sample hands have shown the mana production is consistently fast.
I always feel a little guilty building decks that not everyone has the money to put together. But if you're playing Modern-legal with regularity, I trust you are committed enough to be able to acquire the cards in due time. I think you will be happy you did.

How to Play

Both Nissa and Sorin allow you to gain life while increasing the rate in which you move through your library. Sorin encourages the use of big monster creatures in order to take max advantage of his "+1" ability. Nissa complements this by allowing you to get the lands out that you need to summon the monsters. The two white fliers give you an early form of attack while you wait to cast your monsters. Both possess abilities that complement the themes of the deck. Take care in using your burn lands, but make no mistake, the speed and reliability they add is worth it. Plus you can recover the life lost through Nissa, Sorin and other cards in the deck.

Deck discussion for Nissa and Sorin

Drop one of each walker to bring it down to 60 cards. While yes, they are what the deck revolves around, having 3 of each of them wont hurt, because of the plainswalker rule.
