Kyle... just...stop talking. I've read about 1/3 of that post and I'm already reeling from the amount of stupid.

Little removal? 1/5 of my deck is removal. You must be forgetting that the Gatekeepers double as removal. Basilisk collar is good, but it's not black. I'm trying to avoid having non-black spells as much as possible.

Fetches in mono-black vamps do 3 things.
1. Deck thinning: They essentially pull 2 cards out in one draw, making me more likely to draw, say, Vampire Nocturnus.
2. They power up the bloodghast, because they are essentially 2 landfalls in one card.
3. They power up the Nocturnus. Top card is a land? Pop your fetch. Pull that land off the top, shuffle, and there's a pretty good chance of it being NOT a land that second time.

I don't like when people just kind of TELL ME what cards to play. Try suggestions, they'll get more attention from me. I NEED the one drops, they are basically the heart and soul of this deck. This deck is focused on speed; with no one drops, it's slowed severely. As far as Lacerator, I used to run the lacerator instead of the tracker. Then I realized: The only thing the lacerator has on the Pulse Tracker is one toughness, and he's losing you a life every turn. One life every turn is NOT worth one toughness. As far as sign in blood, it's been in and out of this deck 3 or 4 times. I just can't really decide what I would want it instead of. I've tossed the idea of more fetches around, the main problem being: I don't have 2 more Verdant Catacombs, and I don't have the money to buy them either. Nobody has them to trade where I play, either. As for Grim Discovery? I'm not overly impressed. Yeah, it can pull a fetch and a creature back, but it's just not worth the space in the deck.

So, you want Glacial Fortress. What about Path to Exile and Archive Trap? If you're playing mill and you're not running that combo, something's wrong.

Thanks, Ashe! Much appreciated. I'll give your deck a look as soon as I check out the cards you suggested.

Hey, man. Interesting deck, would be interesting to play against. I would think that Jace Beleren would be the better planeswalker for this, over Sorin. Or, to make things interesting, you could run both. As far as speeding it up, I don't know... there's not a lot of blue mana acceleration. I like the lands that do storage counters, though, and any duel lands would be helpful. And I would try adding more land in general; I like to run 35-40 in an EDH deck. Try some of the M10 and lorwyn duel lands.

Anywho, I'd really appreciate it if you'd give my EDH deck a look, it's based on dragons.

Thanks for the recommendations. I looked at Flamebast, wasn't overly impressed. And I'm l planning on playing this for purely casual games, so it doesn't matter that Kokusho is banned. And I like multiplayer EDH better than duel EDH. I really like the 'Grab the Reins' idea. Thanks again, much appreciated.

Also--REALLY try and drop to exactly 60 cards. It seems a little anal, but there's a reason most decks run exactly 60.

On the whole, not impressed with Chandra Ablaze. She's good, but... too expensive, and there are far better plainswalkers. Maybe try Sarkhan Vol instead? Also, slightly confused by the choice of running a Kalitas in the sideboard--he's REALLY not that good. And I would definitely, definitely, DEFINITELY run more creatures. You could for sure drop the Breath of Malfegors, and probably one or two of the Searches for Tomorrow. I'd do more dragons if you can, as well as some cheap one-drops. Maybe a Predatory Advantage as well.

Also, I'd like some advice on my EDH deck... wanna give it a look?

Friend of mine recommended Karrthus--the haste for all dragons is just so good. Sure, the 'take all dragons' is very situational, but he's still a 7/7 for 7 and he untaps all dragons (HOORAY, BLOCKERS!) and he gives every dragon I play from that point on haste.

Hmmm. A good deck build, but I'm not sure about a few cards. I'm on the whole NOT impressed by Blood Tribute--too expensive. And Kalitas is fun, but he's not anything too special-I'd drop one of him for another Sorin. Sorin wins games. Kalitas usually doesn't. I also REALLY, REALLY like Vampire's bite. Try and run at least one more.
