If it was mainly 2-3 casting cost I would dark Tutelage but with 12 cards over 3 I don't want to chance suiciding myself. That's what the Sign in Bloods are for. Surgical would be ok but I you are basically taking something out that might never hit the board anyway. And with most decks, one card isn't going to mean they automatically lose the game.

Exaclty as Milkey said it. Most people's eyes go straight for it like Jace. Plus the portection will help. Another reason it that if I get a Lashwrithe equiped to it, the game shouldn't last more than 2 more turns. Thanks for the feedback!!
I did. I have a mono blue mill deck now. And by turn 5 I've usually decked over half of the opponent's library. I would rather use the archive traps for the same mana and possible trigger ability.

I forgot to add this. You might run into some land problem with only 17. An extra 2-3 wouldn't hurt.
I like this one a lot. I've been contemplating putting some black in the mill deck I have but the white has some good cards as well. I really like mind funeral. I also have a preference to using twincast with the mill spells.
If you could check out mine I would appreciate it. I am going to be making some updates in the next day or 2.
I agree with the 2 above on Traumatize. I am working on a mill deck and traumatize doesn't help much at all. Archive Trap really helps. With the fetch lands everyone if using now you can get the trap ability pretty easy. I have twincast in my deck to use with either a archive trap or a sanity grinding. With the hedron crab in the deck you could use a couple fetch lands yourself. Teramorphoic Expanse for instance. You get 3 cards milled for playing that and an additional 3 for the fetched land.
I like the Dark Depths/Hexmage combo.
I haven't tested yet. Just working the idea right now to see if others think it would work.

Thanks!! I was trying to get a decent sideboard established and I might add the earthquake on. That would definitely help against a non-flying creature heavy deck.
I have 3 Traumatize in my posession but only used 2 in the deck. I have noticed like you said, unless it comes out before I've milled any other cards, it doesn't get that many. I might end up taking them out. And correct me if I'm wrong, but Sanity Grinding comes off of the number of blue in my deck. I've been getting at least 10 milled when I use it. If I get ahold of the trapmaker's snare grimtooth suggested I can fetch the archive trap so I have one of the higher mill cards in hand. Thanks for the tips!!
I did mean for it to be a "classic" deck. I didn't intend to use this in standard. I just got back into Magic and haven't got all the cards I would like yet. These were just the one that worked well so far. I've made a few changes already and did take out the shivan meteor. I was planning on more browbeat. I'll make some updates along the way. Thanks!! I overlooked the Forced Fruition. I have been playing through the deck a few times and am noticing the land problem. I like the other 2 cards too. If I get some I'll give them a shot.
I am working on a mill deck right now also. I have Hedron Crab to keep the theme, and help defend in the early stages, and also Tome Scour for a first turn mill for 5 cards. I agree with ControlGame that if you are going to make a good tourney style mill deck you definitley need some control cards like Boomerangs and Counters in case you get a bad draw or you're up against a fast moving deck. I don't have mine posted yet but if anyone wouldn't mind taking a look I will soon. I'm always looking for more ideas.
