This deck is an amazing control deck! The Mana is easily obtained with the abundance of lands and "Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx". This is great for White devotion type cards, like "Evangel of Heliod". This deck is great for professional games, games that involve more than one opponent, whether on teams or free for all, games that will make it past five turns, and especially games with friends. I was inspired by a game I had with my friends. Sometimes we like to change the rules, and make the game interesting, such as having 40 life instead of 20. FYI: For those control lovers, try to get your opponent to agree on 40 life instead of 20 for obvious reasons ;) I hope all find this deck useful, and if you have any comments, by all means let me know, and if you use this deck professionally, don't forget to mention my name :P and tell me how well it did!
The best way to play this deck is to go along, countering moves, making it to turn 6, or sooner if you use "Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx" where you can use "Evangel of Heliod" which in my opinion is the best card, especially when grouped with "Gift of Immortality". If you have "Gift of Immortality" attached to it, by all means attack with it. As soon as it dies you get more soldiers once it is brought back to life! And if your opponent is smart, he/she will not kill it, and maybe not even block it, which gives "Evangel of Heliod" free shots towards the life count. While you distract him/she with "Evangel of Heliod", you can be building your Mana pool and start playing seriously and many cards at once.
