Deck Description

Turn a disadvantage into an advantage, Sadly I don’t think this deck works as intended, as you sacrifice all the zubras at the same time, you only get 1 trigger, however if one died in combat after woo!

Deck discussion for Soul Zubra

Interesting build, I like the zubera soulgorger combo. I don't see any ench/art removal, what might you suggest replacing for some?

It’s a trashy theme deck at its heart, that’s all I have to say.

hm...maybe its a trashy themedeck but even so it might actually work pretty gd. not necessarily in tournaments but as a casual deck it has some potential. and besides i think simpler is sometimes better . maybe 1 or 2 devouring greeds put in there and it might give the deck some more sting.
overall not too bad of a deck =)

I think its a good deck, my mate used to play his Zubera deck with the Hondens it was a really annoying deck and kicked my ass a lot and I'm not a bad player
Check out my clerics deck and controling wizards deck, also will be putting my merfolk on soon.

Think about adding Shirei, Shizo's Caretaker or Bloodbond March in order to bring the Zubera's back. Also add a way to put a lot of them in the graveyard, such as Devouring Greed or Devouring Rage or really anything that lets you sacrifice a lot of creatures, i like Carrion Feeder because he can do it every turn. Golgari Germination is a nice way to add mass tokens since a lot of creatures will be hitting your grave over and over.

Just remembered the funniest thing ever for this deck. Iname, Death aspect to get all zubera cards in your graveyard, Twilight's Call, sac them all to something that doesn't limit you by turns (aka, the soulgorger isn't the best option for this, The Greater Gargadon is probably better, that or spawning pit) OR you can iname Death aspect, AEther Vial (with 2 counters), Empty the catacombs and sac.

Just for the record, the second one takes A LOT LONGER and therefore I suggest going with Twilight's Call since you don't have to pay for most of them to come into play, still AEther Vial is a great card for this deck, so is Soul Foundry.

I loooove the idea, and am inspired to make a Zubera deck of my own.

I would put more ways in to sacrifice creatures - the "Phyrexian Soulgorger" is way to slow.
(Many many good suggestions in this thread.)

Also, I think that there are better ways to get you're creatures back from the graveyard.
Personally I like "Living death" - (especially in combo with "Iname, Death Aspect").

"Shirei, Shizo's Caretaker" as StainxOfxMind mentioned must be a mindblowing combo!
(I only play with multi-opponents, and look forward to sacrifice and get them back 3 times before its my turn again.)

And when you get the mass-sacrifice going - why not throw in "Dragons Appeasement" and draw cards way faster?

"Grave pact" will also bog down you're opponents as you keep sacrificing.

If I understand you correct: If you sacrifice multiple Zuberas at the same time, each of them will count only itself going to the graveyard, as they go at EXACTLY the same time?

If that is the case, I'm going for "Goblin bombardment", "Life Chisel", "Phyrexian Alter" and "Phyrexian Ghoul".
