You can probably cut the crypt and put it in the sideboard for use against a graveyard heavy deck. Also, with the low amount of creatures you are running, I'm not sure the sword makes sense. Your going to draw it in a creatureless hand too many times.

Nice deck man. I play mostly standard/block constructed so my knowledge of some of the older cards is a bit limited. Serra's embrace seems a bit superfluous considering your bombs (the angels) have evasion anyway. I would also consider putting another land or two in the deck considering 4 of your lands (cathedrals) come into play tapped and you have a higher mana curve. The hierarch negates this (and fixes mana) to a certain extent but you might still be a little light.

Glad I could help dude, the deck looks like it will play a lot faster now. You have enough threats in the deck where you won't miss the outlaws much.

Cool deck man. Looks like it could use a little bit of ramp though, maybe try replacing the outlaws or overseers with some avacyn's pilgrims. That way you can play a turn 2 mentor, followed by turn 3 huntmaster/angel/garruk. Kind of hard to stop that rush. Your curve will thank you too

Cool idea. I feel like in a deck like this you gotta have atleast a couple Falkenrath Marauders, even though they are expensive mana wise.

Forbidden alchemy works well in control variant like this one. It puts creatures in your graveyard to exile for cemetery reaper's ability, helps you make a large unbreathing horde & helps you get the card you need in a particular situation. Plus if you put gravecrawler in your graveyard it's as good as drawing an additional card. I have a zombie deck with a pretty similar look, check it out if you are looking for other ideas:

Yeah I wish I had access to that card. With the ghoulcaller's chants in there I'm looking for the best way to sac my creatures besides grim-grin. Thinking about altar's reap or smallpox, I'll probably try them both out see how they do in the deck.

Nice deck man. Batterskull is always a good SB option. A few more cards to consider; Feeling of Dread & Stormbound Geist would both fit nicely in this deck i think, maybe at the expense of accorder's shield (seems like you want the deck to be aggressive) or the angel. I'm not sure Elspeth makes a ton of sense in this deck, I'd probably just round out the ponders to a playset.

Good call man, I didn't even think about throwing heartless in here, might have to grab some.

I'd replace the black cats with highborn ghoul against non-black decks. Throw that sword on him and you can end a game pretty quick.

Considering the deck is mono green, maybe replace the birds with llanowar elves. It'll make it easier to champion with the packmaster and to set off kinship on the shaman.

My friend plays a casual deck like this. He uses bitterheart witch with unburial rites, which works pretty well to get curses out, plus take out a couple creatures. Just a thought, you could run a couple isolated chapel's for the White flashback.

Wow, good call Soap. Never noticed that combo, infinite counters on grim-grin and infinite life loss to whatever opponent(s) your playing. Might have to re-think mine haha.

Agreed with Soap about taking out Heartless Summoning, but Rooftop Storm is not the answer. Aside from the 2 Grim-Grin's nothing costs more than 3, all of your zombies will have been played before Rooftop Storm could even be useful (Rooftop Storm is just too much mana to ever be useful imo). I'd replace the summonings with highborn ghoul's or geralf's messenger, that will make the deck much quicker and more consistent.

I would drop both erdwal rippers for two more stormkirk captains. I'd probably also take out the neonates & chosen of markov for 4x vampire interlopers. Also, I'd take out the sorin's for 2 creature destruction spells of your choice (doom blade/go for the throat/sorin's thirst).

Something like this:
-2 edrwal ripper
-2 bloodcrazed neonate
-2 chose of markov
-2 sorin markov
+2 stormkirk captain
+4 vampire interloper
+2 doom blade

This is actually pretty good al. As usual though, you have too many cards haha. I'd take out auramancers and move autumn's veil to the sideboard. That would get you down to 60. I'd think about throwing in rampant growth or avacyn's pilgrim to speed up the mana, you can take out a couple lands to compensate. You want to get your parallel lives and gutter grimes onto the board as fast as possible.

Yeah your probably right, I just threw Sorin in for flavor he's not really that useful. I'll probably just take out that bloodhall for another swamp, the bloodhall is definitely the worst of the innistrad lands.
