Deck Description

Like all my decks its a non EDH multiplayer deck. I've always wanted to make a mono green deck that just simply tramples over your opponents and kills them. This deck does just that. Ramp up your green mana, and drop lots of big creatures. Attack and overwhelm your opponent.

How to Play

Obviously cultivate, boundless realms, and lanowar elves are there to get your mana out with the quickness.

Creatures:
The Kalonian Tusker and Leatherback Baloth are just great cards for the mana cost. They can put the pressure on your opponents very early, and they should by attacking as much as the can.

Pathbreaker Ibex is pretty awesome and reusable. He simply makes all your creatures huge and gives them trample. Imagine something as simple as one Ibex, one Baloth, and one Tusker: Thats two 7/7's and one 8/9 with trample. Thats 22 trample damage coming at you, and conceivably very early. It just gets nastier later especially once your Dung Grove elder gets out. Now imagine all that with an overwhelming stampede! O.o

The one of's are there to fit a specific purpose like removal, graveyard return, and "pumpability"

The one problem with this deck is lack of flyers. I've tried to alleviate that with the power matrix. There are other options no doubt, but I really ike the ability to give +1/+1 flying, first strike, and trample. That synergy fits well with the overall feel of the deck. The predator flagship also helps, and has the added bonus of some creature removal.

Deck discussion for Stampede of Doom

Of your three decks, I would definately NOT go with THIS. It's a bland green creature deck with fatties - probably the worst you could play in FFA multiplayer games! Cards like Leatherback Baloth don't give you options - in fact, their only advantage is the good p/t-to-mana, but this forces you to play him early and to be aggressive. Which means you will draw all tne early creature removal, make enemies and at best kill one opponent. Then you run out of cards and the others reap the rewards.
Even your countermeasures to flyers are offensive (Power Matrix and Predator). I like those cards, however, they represent a threat to everyone at the same time. You'd probably be better of with something like Spidersilk Armour, Tower Defense or the good old Hurricane (Tropical Storm if you worry about the damage to players).

Evolutionary Leap might help you staying in the game since you can respond to creatures getting killed.

I would also change the creature mix to something better suited to multiplayer FFA, stuff like
- Thragtusk
- Rhox
- Pelakka Wurm
- Thrun, the Last Troll

What definately has to go is vanilla creatures ... Kalonian Tusker!? Avatar of the Resolute!

And you don't need 4 Overrun. In fact I think you'd be better off with something reuseable and resource generating like Rancor or Loxodon Warhammer.

going to totally rework this deck. I'm loving Avatar of the Resolute and the idea of the +1/+1 counter, and thinking the Gyre Sage would be a perfect fit in this deck as well. It will take me a few days, but I'm reworking this whole deck, yet keeping some of the ideas behind it (i.e. Pathbreaker Ibex). Also, how about Longshot Squad? I'm thinking it could work over the Matrix and Flagship.I just love the pathbreaker...and I'm thinking a HYDRA OMNIVORE :D...probably going to just make a new deck within the next few days, my minds ripe with some new possibilities for this deck, thanks. I'll post the link here.

Longshot Squad would be a fit as about 2 copies. You add a lot of flak without losing a creature slot and without threatening others in their build-up like Predator does.
