Deck Description

I wanted something different with this deck. I wanted a Vampire Deck that was a bit outside the norm. Most of my decks are multiplayer, and this is no exception. The point is to make the opponents creatures difficult to cast and VERY costly. While yes, your creatures may be costly, they are designed to maximize the return on them, fit the vampire theme, and fit under a $40 budget.

How to Play

The point of the deck is the synergy between breathstealer's crypt, soul barrier, and vile consumption. Creatures on the board are going to be very rare, and if they stay on the board they are going to cost your opponents life. Which will make your bloodchief accession start doing some immediate damage. Now yes, all your creatures are costly for you, but many have life link to gain you the life back. Also a few have death touch, which make any pesky blockers left go bye bye. The stud of the deck is vampire nighthawk, with a ring equipped and things get scary quick.

Deck discussion for Children of the Night (Budget)

Good work, good work.
All this deck lacks are some more early gamers... How about something like Ruthless Cullblade?

Thanks! Yes Im thinking the Cullblade would be nice early, and has the possibility to get stronger with the ring/and or its +2/+1 later. Guul Draz Assassin may even better, but its $5 a card. Thinking maybe two less Vampire Outcasts and one less markov: in place, 3 Cullblade.

That would seem like a good decision. Guul Draz Vampire is also pretty good.
