Deck Description

Hoping some of you get the South Park reference! Multiplayer Budget Series!!! Do you want to create new and fun decks when you get together with your friends? Do you want to make killer decks, that aren't lame, all at a cost of around $30 Well this is your place for multiplayer budget decks! A multiplayer deck that makes your opponents creatures go bye-bye in the poof of an eye!

How to Play

This ones pretty straight forward you have your pingers that do damage to creatures, and you give them equipment that gives them deathtouch. So basically, one damage makes them go away. You can run into problems with decks that avoid destroy effects or hexproof stuff. If that happens pining the opponent to death, while lame, may get the job done. Also, Glaring Spotlight can help with that.

There is one "infinite combo" that I tend to avoid unless necessary: Goblin Sharpshooter w/ Gorgon's Head. Basically it can wipe an entire army of 1 million 100/100s. Eye-rolling for sure, but not all that necessary for a win condition.

Quietus spike can be reserved for an opponent with massive amounts of life and placed on your Mortivore for a killing blow. And the scythe, while a breaker of my Rule #1, can save your ass grabbing you a creature that could help win the game for you.

Meltdown is a good mass artifact remover and will come in real handy, as well as your panic button Disk.

Whip of Erebos allows you to do all the cool stuff your deck does, and allows you to gain life at the same time.

Unearth is probably the card that can be switched out, but I wanted some way to bring a creature back, and it allows you to draw a card early game, or late game for that matter.

Mephidross Vampire, once out, makes your creatures grow bigger as they preform their deed, making them formidable for an actual attack.

Sideboard cards are either other possibilities, or cards I excluded because of cost

Deck discussion for ...And, it's Gone! [Budget]

Master of cruelties fits the flavor and would be a good win con. (lower them to one then ping them for one with any creature.) I would switch it out with Mephidross vampire.

Giddy, it could work, a rouges passage thrown in would help even more with the master of cruelties. It is just the master is so damn squishy! Solid suggestion though thank you Tarrasque!

You should be playing the Basilisk Collars over the gorgon's heads. Overall it is just a better card.

Ya for sure. However, this is a budget deck and the collar is 6 bucks a pop and the gorgons head is 18 cents. It is why the collar is in the sideboard. Thanks for the input though!

I might be stating the obvious here, but Death Pits of Rath? It's 5 mana but doesn't require you to give deathtouch to each creature individually.

Yes! Awesome suggestion for sure. I hadn't thought of that card. The only issue is my creatures are affected by it as well. Does that make a huge deal?--I don't think it would. However, to be sure I would have to playtest it in some actual games. The 5 mana cost could also be an issue, but again, I would have to test it. Thank you!

Meltdown will probably blow up all your artifacts. Vandalblast seems so much better.

Thanks! I'm glad you like it. I specialize in multiplayer decks (and budget ones) check out my profile and see the other decks I have. Also, I do my best to comment on multiplayer decks on this site to give them some love. Also, another great person on this site when it comes to multiplayer is Puschkin. He also has several stellar multiplayer decks. Here is a link to one of his decks: http://www.mtgvault.com/puschkin/decks/pick-wisely/

Necropolis Regent>Mephidross

Thanks for the input! However, Necro needs to do combat damage to a player to get counters, while mephidros allows it to happen with ANY damage. Most all my creatures deal damage by taping, so therefore in this instance, Mephidross >Necropolis. However, that doesn't mean that Mephidros AND a Necro couldn't coexist in the same deck. I'll sideboard it. Thank you again,

Nice combo! I made a strangely similar deck with entirely different cards. http://www.mtgvault.com/1111222334/decks/the-molesting-touch-of-death/

I cloned your deck and made it Monored. I think it might be a little bit stronger (although less versatile). Check it out http://www.mtgvault.com/michaelmactavish/decks/mono-red-ping-deathtouch/
