Deck discussion for Bazaar of Wonders

Alright well first things first, you want 4x Bazaar of Wonders if that is the main focal point of the deck. other than that, i reall like the deck and i could suggest the addition of a isochron scepter. It exiles a card so you can play it again and again without paying its mana cost. I would suggest adding in a counterspell for this exact reason. If you exile counterspell, you can use it multiple times and counter the preliminary cards that weren't countered by bazaar. Then once they are in the graveyard already, bazaar will take care of it in the future. Perfect combo :)

Yes, that Isochron scepter +counterspell is a good idea. I'll add that soon. Though regarding 4x Bazaar of Wonders, I'd have to find someone who's willing to trade these. But that was my intention eventually to have it 4x in this deck.

Good call. Another thought i had was that you could sideboard in some burn cards like lightning bolt for the same isochron combonation. Using the same card multiple times when your opponent can only use a spell once, IF you dont counter it, is just so fun.

Yes, I was thinking of other nice cards to use with Isochron Scepter. I did come up with my old combo of Fire / Ice. But I'll see what I'll can come up with. Harder part is, what to take out the deck to make room for these cards: Counterspell, Isochron Scepter and 2x Bazaar of Wonders. I was thinking of Flux, Petals of Insight and Library of Lat-Nam. There are also 20 lands in this deck. I think that 1 or 2 more lands wouldn't hurt. So I'd have to make quite some more room.

well first i would switch out terror for go for the throat or doom blade, that way you can kill one or the other... then i would indeed take out flux. Blue decks can pack in much better cards than that for drawing what is basically a "draw x cards" card. I would also take out petals like you said, it just isnt that solid, and also i would take out the library like you said. Its not needed with all the drawing you can have going. For cards that i would suggest to take out to make room for the cards you need to add in, take out arcane denial, no need to give your opponent extra cards advantage and also take out fact or fiction, diabolic vision does the same thing but on steroids. I would also add IN a persecute though. It is really good for this deck.

(It's 3 years later.) I love Bazaar of Wonders. In order to maximize its impact, my BoW deck is a creatureless Millstone deck, to get their cards into their graveyard to get the lockdown operational earlier. I held myself to 2x of every spell rather than 1x; maybe I should have tried 1x to eliminate any possibility of slowing myself down.

I think I only ever won a single game of Standard in a DCI tournament with this deck - love the card anyway.
