Considering the curve, I would STRONGLY encourage the implementation of B/R dual lands. Badlands, Sulfurous Springs, the B/R fetch land, shock land, etc., will all give you considerably utility to play virtually anything as soon as possible. Handcuffing yourself to traditional lands may slow you down at times preventing you from dismantling threats or establishing offense. City of Brass would even help considerably.

Otherwise, you could really consider making this build mono-black. In fact, you might find some significant success altering the deck to accomodate a mono-black build. Implementing cards like Edicts/Verdicts, Dark Ritual, Sign in Blood, and spot removal via Terror/Doom Blade/Go for the Throat will help you control the game until you swing in for the killing blow.

Cairn the Wanderer is a great add here, but consider how productive it would be hitting the board turn 3 with a Dark Ritual (or turn 2 with a couble Dark Ritual draw). Even Phyrexian Obliterator would fit this theme lovely.

Hope these ideas help. If you get a chance, I welcome any comments or suggestions you can offer one of the decks I have posted here on the site (just click on my name to see the deck list). Thanks!
