I reckon 2 wouldn't hurt, what happens when you get mana flooded late game? I can see this winning in the first 3 - 5 turns but what happens after that? All someone has to do is drop a thragtusk and boom all your hard work gone. It's happened to me with aggro decks so many times. Maybe even sideboard some late game hard hitters? Like Hellrider and curse of bloodletting? Hell even some mizzium mortars....

Plus he does damage whenever he taps for mana, so it gives your opponent a clock (a slow clock, but still) Birds of Paradise might be coming back with M14, Garruk's horde has... We might get lucky....

Definitely recommend arbor elves. Ramp is always good. Sorry I didn't know there was a budget. Bioshifts are only really good if you are going to play a corpsejack menace, because with him on the field whenever you move tokens they will double due to his ability. Looks ok now. You have strength along with some evolving and some spells to back you up, and a way to take tokens off your undying. If you have ever played a deck where undying unit literally NEVER die, it is quite annoying.....

Honestly to keep the theme of this deck going without changing it too much you need more ramp IMO. I like it as it is, I REALLY do... But if you want to beat aggro you need to be faster. Here's my tip opinion on it - Sideboard all 3 Rampagers, take out of sideboard 1 Rift, the Thraggy and Gruul charm. In place of Rampager in mainboard, Zhur-Taa Druid. If you can do 4, drop one land, seeing as you have more ramp to make up for it. Since you're running blue, consider curiosity (In place of Zegana) to attach to Zhur-Taa Druid. A lovely little trick I learned in my old Maze's end deck. Just a couple of ideas. Like I said, looks good already, but if you want to deal with aggro, beat em to it.

I'd maybe go another Gavony township for a forest, but other than that, looks good.

He's right, you can still have odric, just change your general to a white / green legendary. Might I suggest Sigarda, Host of Herons or Tolsimir Wolfblood or Chorus of the Conclave or Krond the Dawn-Clad. And you have one too many cards in your deck. You're only allowed 99 plus your general. Or just take out privileged position.

I've made something like that already. And it's not called Bronzebeak moa anymore, it is now known as the ALMIGHTY GOLDEN BATTLECOCK!!! Here I'll show you :)

Honestly I can't really see much you can change, you seem to have achieved what you were aiming for. Anything I suggest will change your whole layout.. Having said that, if you were willing to invest in some more ramp (4 Pilgrims, 4 Arbors and 4 farseeks) You could have some fun with a Selesnya blink deck.

2 Collective Blessing
2 Conjurer's closet
4 Cloudshift
4 Resto angel
4 Trostani's summoner
4 Bronzebeak moa
4 Thragtusk
4 Farseek
4 Arbor elf
4 Avacyn's pilgrim

That's if you wanted to stuff around with it that is...

I reckon it would be funny...

Still, like your deck here. Solid.

Hey if you don't mind cosineofthetas, I wouldn't mind your opinions of mine, been toiling away at getting it right, and I think I have it right, will just have to playtest it and see how it goes...

I'll try a similar deck in a week or so after I give my blood baron deck a god at the local weekend tournament, but I don't have any terminus so I'll most likely replace that with Snappy... Still I have gone up against a deck like this before and DAMN this looks like a bitch of a deck to go up against...

also spike jester instead of slitherhead would be better too, seeing as with varolz everything will be scavengable you may as well go all out. Check out mine for some ideas, did quite well the last time I played it.

VERY nice, I like it a lot, I've been looking for a Bant deck to start mine off as a base, and yours is great inspiration. Very nice sir!

Lol yeah that's why I was getting confused. I didn't want to sound like a dick so I tried to be as nice about it as possible.

I think you mean Gruul then.... and isn't it from Gatecrash? I mean, you have Gruul war chant and Gruul charm in your deck... So I'm guessing it was a typo is all.... I just thought there was an inside joke I was missing.. Like Bronzebeak Moa being called the Golden Battlecock, or Varolz being called Cookie monster...

What's a Grull? I like the deck, hell I like anything with Savageborn Hydra, it's a boss... But I just don't have a clue what a Grull is....

Take out the bioshifts and add more of the spells you already have, or mainboard the uvenwald trackers. Then you can focus your tactics. You already have Zameck guildmage to take tokens off your undying once they come back. Invest in shock and dual lands, they have become slightly cheaper. More master biomancers. You want him to be on the field ready to go at the earliest turn 4, I'd say turn 3 but you have no Arbor elves in there. So it should play out like this - Turn 1, a one drop, like cloudfin. Turn 2, Gyre sage. Turn 3 Strangleroot geist, evolve gyre sage, Zameck guildmage (or other way around, doesn't matter). Turn 4 Master Biomancer, then go nuts :) If you want to take advantage of the massive amounts of counters you will be getting, and Guildmage isn't quick enough, throw in some Ooze flux's instead of Bred for the hunt. Will add to your massive creature pool.

It's not an illegal combo. It can be countered by say, a skullcrack, riot control, safe passage, druid's deliverance. Things like that. It would be countered before it started. As soon as you nullify the life gain or loss, the combo fizzles. Think of it like this. Each one triggers each other's ability. Therefore since it is a step by step trigger, it is not an illegal infinite combo, as the trigger stops when the opponent's life hits 0, there is no more life to take. Hope that helps. Pretty much though what it comes down to is YES it is legal. YES the opponent loses the game once their life hits 0. YES it is VERY hard to do, because once an opponent sees you setting it up they WILL pull out all the stops...
