Just adjust your deck to suit what holes it had. What failed you or what didn't you have happen?

Played again today in second game day. Results are --

1st round - Had the Bye
2nd round - 2 / 0 win against Jund haste / immortal servitude deck
3rd round - 2 / 1 win against Esper enchantment deck.

Won second game day, but gave the playmat to one of the other guys who didn't have one. I'm not greedy.

Ohh soo close!!! second is still good too. Do you guys have another games day as well tomorrow?

If you're playing that Carpet midrange deck I'm sure you'll be fine. The only thing that worries me is you have no 3 drops. But if you reckon you don't need em, good luck anyway for the day. Let me know how you go.

Screw your Geist enchant deck!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Damn it all to hell!!!! I HATE this deck with a passion!!!!!!!!!! You cheap effing bastard!!!! Having said that, nice deck man... Lol.... There's apparently a Bant enchant deck that is similar that runs Unflinching courage and rancor. Might be an idea if you want to spread to 3 colours

Ok final result on game day. We only did 3 rounds.

1st versus the same deck that beat me 0 / 2 the other night - 2 / 0 win. Just demolished him.
2nd versus BUG Shapeshifter / Undying deck - 2 / 0 win. Again, pretty clean sweep
3rd versus WUR control - 2 / 1 win. Got me on the second game with Assemble the legion x 2. Just too many soldiers at once.

Came first for the day, won me a nice ass Maze's End playmat :) YYEAAH!!!!

Pretty much I had an answer for everything with this deck. Easily the 2 stars of this deck were Obzedat and Loxodon smiter. You shoulda seen the look on the guy with control deck's face :) Oh Loxodon smiter.. Umm ok...

Good deck, Blessings of Nature is a bitch... same goes for increasing savagery. Tell you what's great with counters in a budget deck? Bioshift. I got my arse kicked by it so many times!! I'm going to kill your howlgeist because it already has 4 bloody counters on it. Ok before damage I Bioshift them to blahbalh. Undying. DAMMIT!!!

It's more important to have fun. This is a hobby after all... The guy who was using the Bant Enchantments deck said that our game was the most fun one he had all night, it's no fun playing the Bant enchant deck. Just OP win cons

there's no goblin that does that....

If it's control decks that are hassling you, you might have to splash some black and go slaughter games or rakdos's return in the sideboard..... I can't think of any red that takes care of someone's hand. Hell maybe even some Duress'

That's still not bad...

Ok I'll take your word for it, as long as you have a long game setup planned you should be alright, that's the only thing that can kill these kind of decks.
