i like the steel sabotage in the board, this deck has a real issue with shrine of burning rage.

artifacts and planeswalkers that resolve are very hard to fight through. against a shrine deck, the sabotages and witchbane orb all come in.

Seems pretty slow. I know you have spells to delay and kill creatures, but what happens when people start O ringing your big guys you work so hard to get out?

seeing as how he is playing U/B control, he would definitely have a counterspell ready to cancel the O-ring, or he could snapcast, to flashback the negate, dissipate, mana leak, etc.

i've had six drops o-ringed before but its nothing major because normally the board is stabalized enough in my favor that i can play around with think twices and alchemies to find another threat.

What I am getting at tho is aggro decks can win a game fast. Especially with white decks these days. Red too. Considering most their creatures and spells are 1 drops. And Grand abolisher slows any control deck down. Even if only for a turn or two. Im curious, how does this do against red deck wins?

my last tournament i went 4-2 losing to tempered steel 1-2 and MBC from 2 games of being mana screwed. i dont worry about aggro match ups too much though just b/c game 1 isnt impossible to win and post board the deck gets even more threatening. With 3 available zeniths and a curse, mass removal of anything i cant deal with immediately is taken care of. after 6 matches, i can honestly say that 1 or 2 grand abolishers actually hit play before being killed, all mirran crusaders were taken care of, geists were killed with zeniths for 2, and angelic destinies were leaked. batterskull goes a long way too in these match ups with the life gain. as far as RDW, i havnt played it yet with this deck but i think the sideboard can pull out good options. Witchbane orb, surgical extraction on pheonix, steel sabotage for shrine, another zenith if creature heavy, and maybe even 2 flashfreeze.
