Deck Description

When I first saw that Fling is going to return in Amonkhet, I knew that it will probably break things with its BFF Atog (Ravenous Intruder). Add Tezzeret's Touch and you get an evil mixture.

Having Fling ready is just nuts in this deck. If you managed to enchant an artifact with Tezzeret's Touch (Thopter is great because of evasion), you can attack and fling for immense damage.

Or just simply let Atog eat all your artifacts nom nom nom and fling in opp's face.

How to Play

Imagine the scenario:
You play a fair game of Magic with this deck, naturally beating your opponent down to 9-12 with your artifacts until turn 5. You probably have a Servo Schematic + Servo and a Scrounger in play, and you have just resolved a Maverick Thoperist, adding two Thopters.

Now it is your turn, you play your fifth land and all you need to end it at that point is either an Atog + Fling or a Touch + Fling.
a) Play Land. Cast Atog. When opp wants to remove it, sac your artifacts to Atag and Fling for the win. If your opp waits, attack with your team, then sac them to Atog and Fling for the win.
b) Play Land. Cast Touch on a Thopter. Attack with Thopter and Team for 5+x, then fling Thopter for an additional 5dmg.

That combo is sweet, but far away from competitive imo.
Construct is a vanilla 2/2 for 4 that will die to everything before they let you start the infinite loop.
Plus, you need 6 mana (and an opponent without answers and unaware at best) to actually get the party started. That is not where you want to be.

I have never used it, but are you sure you have the creature amount to make Scrapheap Scrounger worth it, 4 of them?
