Druidic Dominance

by Belhemel on 04 August 2008

Main Deck (60 cards)

Sideboard (29 cards)

Creatures (3)

Artifacts (2)

Enchantments (2)

Land (10)

Submit a list of cards below to bulk import them all into your sideboard. Post one card per line using a format like "4x Birds of Paradise" or "1 Blaze", you can even enter just the card name by itself like "Wrath of God" for single cards.

Deck Description

Try to not play tangle until you can kill your opponent in one turn because the turn they attack will be there last(which is easily obtainable by turn 4-5). Save negate for Wrath or direct damage spells. Ponder is really great to rearrange your top cards and draw one of them. Once the Arch Druid is on the board you can use harbingers to keep pulling more druids(preferably harbingers) out since you can stack the arch druids ability to put the next Harbinger in your hand then play.

Deck discussion for Druidic Dominance

If anyone would like to expand any ideas on the sideboard I would be more than welcome to add to it. Obviously the axe is used to play and swing with Nath right away and Heedless One is nice but I have found that too often by turn five I either have all their land and have just used overrun or I have so many tokens I dont need either of them. I would like to make this type 2 legal as well so suggestions on what I should use on the cards that aren't are definitely welcome.

I don't know about type 2 legality (or any format really, I'm just a casual player), but I like your deck, it's at least more original than Wellwisher....ect....ect.... (i hate elves) lol. A few Heedless One's in the maindeck would def. be worth it

Ya you shouldn't need to gain life with this deck. If you do then your probably not going to win. I have used Heedless One in the deck a few times. Straight up you probably don't need her but in a 2 or more free for all definitely put her in cause I have ran over two people at once with her. I use promenades to get about 20-30 tokens, drop harbinger, pull out Heedless and triger Arch Druid to draw it then play and equip to axe.

The black cards are used to combat a friend of mine. He uses the combo of Swans of Byrn Argoll and Pariah to deck me if I keep in blue. I don't get the counterspells and card drawing but it is worth the switch. Also if you like red then use Roar of the Crowd and maybe a few others instead of the black or blue.

I run a mono-green Druid deck that can usually go off before a Wrath can come out--similar to this, but also uses Seton, Krosan Protector. I like the idea of splashing for control, but I wonder how much more difficult that makes an overrun? That tends to be my win condition--that, and taking all your lands. :-)
