Deck Description

IMO treefolk are just about the greatest thing ever. Sure, many of the other tribes are great, and hell, it's easy to argue that elves are better. But nothing is more satisfying than winning with an army of trees. Treefolk are extremely fun to play, and in most cases this is a good deck!

As a side note, i would like some help with the side board. Not sure what to put in here.

Why not 3 Colors and add the guy that makes all creatures assign damage by toughness. Doran Siege Tower?

He's already in the deck. You see, you don't need the land in order to get him on the field. Murmuring Bosk generates the mana he needs, as does birds. Green sun's zenith will also get him out on the field (or any treefolk in the deck, for that manner). And finally Leaf-crowned elder's ability puts him on the field :)

Ouch. I've seen some treefolk tribals before, but this one looks very powerful. I'm not sure how it would be beaten other than classic blue bounce/denail--even then, not very easily.

yea this deck works very well against blue counter decks because it's sneaky fast and blue decks can't keep up with all the trees. I have a friend that uses a very powerful vintage mono blue counter deck and this deck can constantly give it a run for it's money. Blue decks are also why i threw thrun on the sideboard. He's such a pain for control and he happens to work with leaf-crowned elder's ability, so it's a win win :)

wow this is a pretty sick tree deck. i have a friend in my area who runs a tri-color treefolk deck. its insane what he can do with it. like urs seems pretty tough to beat.

i'd suggest splashing white to help get out those indomitable ancients and maybe adding either white removal, black+ kill spells, or beast within. could you check out the treefolk deck my friend and i are making?

Alright I'll throw in the sunpetal groves and put beast within on the sideboard. Thanks for the feedback :)

Very interesting deck build. I've always been a fan of treefolk but I haven't actually seen a really well optimized deck for the tribe in a while. At least not like this one. Awesome job!
