The owner of this deck hasn't added a sideboard, they probably should...

I suggest you rather play 2 or 3 Red/Green duals for Xenagos and go for the fourth Elvish Mystic instead of the slivers.

Yep. You could drop slivers and if you're still wanting ramp then either gyre sage or voyaging satyr. Also, gruul guildgate, stomping ground, temple of abandon or just some good ole mountains would be suggested. You should sb a good amount of instants and/or sorceries since you have a lot of creatures. I'd suggest messenger speed, alpha authority (or madcap skills) and savage summoning just to start off.
Summoning Trap could also be something to sideboard, if you end up facing a lot of blue decks. That is, if you don't mind legality.
I believe they're going for standard, though Idk for sure.
Def swapping gyre sage in for the slivers. Thank you
While you're at it, throw some Savageborn Hydras into that Sideboard just for fun lolEDIT: Just noticed the lack of Mountains, nevermind lol. Unless you feel like making it Red/Green of course.
He has savageborn and xenagos with no mountains. Not to mention, 18 manas not really enough when playing hydras anyways, even with ramp.
Yeah I was thinking that as well. I run 28 lands on my Hydra deck, but it's not legal in standard like this one is.http://www.mtgvault.com/frosthydra/decks/hydra-rampage/
I definitely wouldn't run any less than 22 personally.
I love hydra decks! This one is very well put together good deck.
Voyaging Satyr is better (1 extra toughness) than Manaweft Sliver unless you add more slivers to the deck.
You'd largely be better off running Axebane Guardian's over the Slivers. Axebane will build off both itself and your Caryatids, rather than just the Slivers off of each other only. Xenagos, God of Revels is also something to consider making room for. Perhaps in place of the Mistcutter's and bring them in only against the blue matchup. Who doesn't love massive hasty hydras?
Why vastwood over mistcutter? Pro u, haste and costs one less g vs just moving counters around when it dies?
Never underestimate the ability to move counters around. Rather than losing that power from the board, you get to spread it around and beef up any lesser hydras or make big ones godly. That's still very much board advantage. In this deck, you could probably get away with losing either for God Xenagos. It's a matter of preference.
Just curious because you're about the 3rd person to suggest vastwood over mistcutter. I'd personally like to be able to drop mistcutter a turn sooner, or at leat a mana bigger, and smack same turn. Though I don't usually run red in a hydra deck either. Vastwoods good, I'd just rather use it in like a grave play or something?
What I just came up with,http://www.mtgvault.com/dharr16/decks/hydra-vs-wurm-hydra/
18 lands is really meager for a deck that may want to spend up to eight mana on a singel creature. Trim your creature base; play maybe 2 Karametra's Acolytes, 4 Elvish Mystics and 4 Sylvan Caryatids, and no Manaweft Slivers; then maybe stop running 3x everything across the board, trim a couple of cards, and end up with at least 22 land. Plus, Stomping Ground and maybe Temple of Abandon could go a long way here to developing your mana base. Lastly, Domri Rade is awesome. He will help with your mana curve, considering your only three-drops are a couple of Scourges of Skola Vale. He'll generate card advantage, he'll fight Azorius Charm, he'll serve as a consistent removal spell . . . he's way better than Xenagos. Xenagos beats Desecration Demon, and that's about it. I've watched hours of competitive Magic, and Xenagos is only used for his 0 ability. I've only seen him +1 once. Domri Rade, on the other hand, has ultimated more times than Xenagos has been +1. So, basically, add more land and add Domri. And cut Vastwood Hydra.
^^^ This.
Thanks for all the input. I do plan to add some stomping ground. Definitely NOT getting rid of the vast woods. They are the reason I mana ramp. And yes I am keeping it standard. The excessive creature base is built to amplify the xenagos and garruk combo. I am looking for sideboard suggestions too.
I salute this deck's name. However it should be UG instead of RG to be the perfect pun name.
