Deck Description

This is a new deck that im working on. Its meant to bring back creatures and deal damage to you every turn. So please comment.

Update: 10/8/2012; Since scars are out of standard now. I made this deck even more aggro. Adding in Rakdos Cackler and Diregraf Ghoul for more beat down. I had to take out a lot of cards that I used. So please comment below to tell me what yall think of the new build.

Update: 11/11/2012; After play testing the new build, all I needed to do is change the sideboard around. The main deck is pretty solid. I really like the combo with Blood Artist and Killing Wave, because just on my 4th or 5th turn you will be dead. I dealt over 20 damage just on my side of the battlefield to my opponent on turn 5. This deck is really good from how I play it. Well, comment below, any other opinions are highly welcomed.

Deck discussion for Rakdos Zombies

I like the idea, but I'd take out 1 less phoenix, and 1 less geralf's messneger, only because they are heavy in red/black. Instread, trade for more direct dmg spells like incinerate to clear the way for your creatures. +1

Thanks for checking out my demons/devils deck:

Hmmm i see... Cavern of Souls helps me with getting the color right for my creatures. And the fact that every hand i got, the right land to play anything i wanted. I tried to get the spells right to help with the creatures and the sideboard as well... Im still working on this deck so ill probably do some more changes. Thanks for your comment.

Hi bboycesar,

You asked me to look at this deck. Well I don't see anything particular wrong. Mana base is good. Nice general distribution of creature casting costs. Side board seems to address most common concerns.

The only unusual thing is you don't seem to be using some of the common tricks to persist decks; Black Sun's Zenith (in main deck), Fume Spitters, Hex Parasite, all are used to remove +1/+1 counters so as to persist again. Some people also like to run Torpor Orb with Vexing Devil. Also not real sure that you are running enought zombies to make gravecrawler worth while.

take a look at Front Page deck "Hell's trickery" to get an idea of a strong B/R build see link

I did take a look at that Hell's trickery deck. The first comment is him. But i see what your talking about. Disentomb, Undying Evil, and Postmortem Lunge are there to help save my creatures and to do more damage to my opponent. I use Vexing Devil as a burn spell not as a creature to attack with. As for Gavecrawler, i think he'll be epic with him and Undying Evil plus with i have another Gavecrawler or a Geralf's Messenger. Gavecrawler will be on the battlefield. Thank you for your advice and comment. If you have anymore advice that'd be highly appreciated.
