Green-White-Blue deck built solely with cards from the Shards of Alara block. Just a simple but effective Bant archetype. I threw this together with the Exalted mechanic in mind as the primary strategy. I'm still looking to get more cards that I need, so it's still a work in progress. I utilize many cards with low converted mana costs for this deck so I could get cards out quickly, and focus on trying to get on the offensive early on (only 6 cards with a CMC higher than 3). I use a playset of Wall of Denial (0/8 Defender with flying and shroud) in this deck, and depend on them for good defense. Bant Battlemage is helpful because in the instance I have a single creature attacking that is pumped up with Exalted bonuses, the Battlemage can give that creature flying or trample, making the attacking creature much harder to deal with. Bant Battlemage's abilities in conjunction with the enchantment Finest Hour makes for a good combo. Hindering Light works great for counters, and Oblivion Ring is good for dealing with threats. I also like Bant Charm, since It can remove creatures, destroy artifacts, AND counter spells. Angelic Benediction can enable me to tap a target creature my opponent controls when one of mine attacks alone, making it easier to slip past my opponents defenses.
