This started off as a mono-red Aggro deck, just pulling together a functioning deck from what I had. Then I mixed some green in there, as you do. But I sort of also wanted the board-state control that came with White, and the resource management that came with Black. If you have any feedback, it'd be greatly appreciated. Especially when it comes to the sideboard. I have very little idea about the current meta in Pauper, so I could use some feedback there. I thought for sure this would be a jank deck and I'd lose every match. So far I haven't played it in organized play, but there will be a pauper event at the end of the month I'll be looking to join, and so far I've got about a 4:3 win rate with this deck, and it wins fairly consistently against higher-end standard decks (2019 august 29th). This is really just a pick-together of whatever commons was in my "Stuff I'll probably never use" box. Some is draft chaff, some is donated cards from more experienced players, and the reason I've been able to put this together really is my experience playing the game. Nothing is worthless if you know how to use it well. Also, it feels nice when people talk about a budget pauper being 50 bucks, being able to say I have a consistently good win rate with a deck that's currently valued, by my estimates, at 4,56 euro (2019 august 29th).
To begin with, take your time building up something of a resource base. Don't play a creature just because you can. Play a creature when you can both play it, and protect it. The regenerate creatures do fine on their own, but that is why black mana is vital (It is its only function in the deck), and so be sure to have both red and black for when you play the creatures. You want white and green early on, and preferably some red. The Shock spells can be traded out for any burns or removals. I put a couple of Terrors in the sideboard, in case I'd face a deck where that works, but the Shocks have worked well enough for me so far. However, looking at the wide range of common burn spells, there are plenty of opportunities there. I only picked Shock because I have like 20 of them from playing around Theros block.
