As always, help, advice, and tips are much appreciated. Really, this is a really casual, really basic Goblin Swam. It is vintage/legacy legal, but it's not ultimately strong, and there is no guarantee winnings here. If your opponent loads a global -1/-1 enchantment, you could give up any minute, it's that easy to kill. But I think allot of what makes this deck fun and interesting is how I've been able to play this very simple, very agressive deck, and win against more complex and well thought-out controllers and defensive players. I have gone away from the 1.0 version, which was basically just four of everything, and not too interesting or powerful creatures of combos, whereas here, I have allowed myself to play a few funnier creatures. I havent had the side deck separated from the main deck for ages, and it works really well. That's really the only update to 1.2 from 1.1.The most fun I've had with this deck has been in special formats, such as Planechase, but it works well for any form of casual play, really, and even does decently in Legacy.
The basic tactical choice varies from game to game, depending on what kind of game this is, or if it's multi-player or 1v1, 2HG, and depending on what kind of a deck your opponent plats. There are Two basic principles.1. Agressive play. If you're facing one opponent, or if your opponents precieve you from the beginning of the game as the most threatening player, go like this. Spawn as many creatures as possible, and attack as much as you can. Never attack with the legendary creatures (except for tuktuk) but use them for their abilities instead. Krenko's ability is the obviously most important one, and it is when he gets out there that you will get to become a real threat to your opponent. He is even more powerful if you can give him haste, so you can activate his ability the first thing you do when he's out, before your opponents can stop him. If they try to kill him, do anything you can to keep him alive. 2. Passive play. Keep on spawning goblins, but don't attack. If you are facing opponents who will only be a threat to you when you are a threat to them, or in a multiplayer game where your opponents are busy killing each other before killing you, keep a low profile untill you can literally kick your opponents butts in one swift attack. With Foundry Street Denizen out, and krenko using his ability to spawn ten or more goblins, you can basically take out any opponent in one or two swift attacks, rather than hitting on them the entire game with 1/1 goblins that keep on dying.
