Deck Description

Goal: build a viable Orzhov extort deck while keeping the total cost at roughly $30.

Be frugal and effective with this Orzhov deck. Keeping a budget and playing MtG can be hard, but with this Orzhov deck, will the low cost compromise effectiveness? Quick answer: Of course! But that won't stop me from trying.

How to Play

Extort your opponent and reap the benefits. Blind obedience ensures you aren't completely overrun by your opponent. Mana curve is kept low so you can maximize how much you extort your opponents. Happy taxing, Orzhov fans.

Removal if the opponent decides to attack. Also to act as another thing the opponent has to deal with. He comes out and creature removal is probably gonna be used on him and not one of the Extort-ers. His cost is low enough that if i drop him early-midgame, there's decent odds that I'll be able to extort two or three times. But distraction/occassional removal is his major purpose.

i saw you replaced it by vampire nighthawk i personnaly think its a good choice but you could also get kingpin's pet wich gives you another extort card...

Yeah, but Nighthawk gives me a decent enough board presence to fend off attacks while also allowing me to go on the offensive if need be. Not to mention I get at least 4 extort cards out a game haha so getting one extorters out isn't really a problem.

Love the idea of a budget Extort deck. I have another W/B deck I added a bit to, but I this deck looks fun. One card I saw missing was Syndic of Tithes. Thought he was a nice Extort body. Other than that, looks great!

Thanks! I'm personally not a huge fan of Syndic of Tithes. I prefer Basilica Screecher and Blind Obedience over Syndic as a two drop. I like having flying bodies out, and Basilica Screecher and Nighthawk together allow me to make some hits outside of extort early on if need be.
