Thanks man, I think it's one of my best ideas I came up with, along with my green hexproof trample deck.

Maybe a couple of dissolves , for countering stuff even on the sideboard

Dissolve sideboarded! Thanks

Hey, it's on the hot page now!!!!!
My first hot deck, if there is a next one, it will probably be my hexproof: I can't wait!

Ok, I think that corrupted resolve might be better than dissolve in here, even though it doesn't have the scry, but it is cheaper to cast. Just my thoughts. :)

Good idea, I like low cost

Nothing like a 1st turn Glistener Elf, then next turn two Giant Growths and 2 Mutagenic Growth. My friend has won so many games with that. The only thing I suggest is maybe a some Rancors?

and phyroblast cost two +5/+5 is fun too, instead of titanic growth

0

Thanks for those suggestions
Rancor could be useful, even though I am going for the unblockable
Can't find phyroblast
Should I take phyrexian swarmlord out? Maybe for another giant growth or something like that
Yes, there's nothing like that combo, so that's why I made this!

Swarmlord should be taken out. This is a quick deck, and with no ramp, he'd just be a dead draw. Replace with Giant Growth or Mutagenic Growth. And the card he mentioned was Phytoburst, 1G sorcery +5/+5.

That's what I was thinking
It's already out for phytoburst

Good idea, but I don't know what to switch out for it, I'll think about it

Groundswell and Invigorate are also amazing. I think better than Giant Growth.

So many good cards, can't decide which to keep!
I would have loved invigorate, but it's only vintage/legacy, want to keep this deck as legal as I can

Cool. I can understand that. What about Groundswell? It gives +4/+4 and Giant Growth only gives +3/+3. I think it is Modern, right?

Yeah, it's all but standard, I did that switch before the comment.
Thanks for the advice!

And Rot Wolf...it is not a good infect creature...i mean, there are a lot better ones. I would take him out and add in another Aqueous Form.

Good luck.

I know it's not that good, but I'm pretty sure I need to change it for another creature, there are not many creatures in this deck, but I will make the change for now. Thanks

I was just done playtesting it and arrived at the same conclusion. Nice catch
I added 2 more but don't know if I should add more, and if so, what to take out? Any advice?

A removal/add creature spell could be "Corrupted Conscience" 5 mana. Gain control of one of their creatures. It gains Infect.

"Melira, Sylvok Outcast" would make your "Phyrexian Hydra" indestructible" and would also make you unkillable with a white card called "Phyrexian Unlife" however i dont suggest the white card. Just a fun sideboard maybe.

"Viral Drake" is a blue creature with ability to give more posin counters without attacking.

As for draw....

"Tolarian Winds" discards your hand. draw that many cards. Could be good. Only 2 mana.

Maybe ONE "Bident of Thassa" whenever a creature deals damage to a player. Draw a card.

Tezzeret's Gambit draw 2 cards then proliferate. (Add more posin counters)

One thing for sure. Get rid of 1 Artful Dodge and add one more aqueous form. The ability to scry and use it every turn beats a sorcery that can only be used twice. and no scry.

One more Inkmoth Nexus will do the trick as well. them 1/1 flying infect creatures can win you the game.

Lastly when a new card comes out. Add these two for ultimate draw power/mana (possibly a fun 4 player sideboard lol)

"Kruphix God of the horizons" What ever mana you dont use everyturn gets converted to colorless mana. Ie you tap all 10 mana on your oppenents turn. Now on your turn you have that 10 mana plus what ever mana you have on the field. No maxium hand size. Indesturible 4/7 creature. Only 5 mana to play. May 2nd I believe.

http://www.magicspoiler.com/mtg-spoiler/kruphix-god-horizons/

Add that god with this "Minds Aglow" pay one mana. Then you pay as much as you want draw that many cards and the oppenent as well. However. You dont have to discard anything and he does.

Awesome human deck!
Added viral drake back in, corrupted conscience is too high mana cost, will look at the others
Thanks for the advice

While it might be high it does get rid of a good blocker of your choice. and could win you the game turn 5. If they have a super powered creature by then. lol.

I'll sideboard it, but the goal is to be unblockable, it could help

Kruphix just came out in the vault, he's good, but doesn't fit this strategy, I'll make a separate deck for kruphix with Eldrazi

My U/G unblockable hyperspeed infect deck is vintage, but has some cool spells and cards. Blighted Agent e.g. is a must-have. Invigorate is as well, but not if you want to keep it modern. Apostle's Blessing is a sweet card too, good against burn/removal but also useful for a quick unblockable if you need it.

Take a look if you want to.

thrummingbird would be a great addition and if they have a flyer to block him u cast something to make him unblockable vigean hydropon might be good to to pump up your creatures and infect faster

0
Posted 04 May 2014 at 06:05

While your current selection of pump spells isn't bad, Unstable Mutation is painfully missing in this! Since you only have to deal 10 points of infect damage and since opposing creatures will shrink as well if they block, the drawback that your creature will shrink is negliable.
To make room I would probably cut the Wild Defiances and one land. This should make the deck faster.

Brilliant idea! I can use that for my infect deck as well.

0
Posted 05 May 2014 at 13:48

Sure, unstable mutation added, since you win faster than the drawback can come in

invigorate, ancestral mask.

0

Yes, Invigorate, Indeed.

0
Posted 07 May 2014 at 01:53

Ancestral mask won't work with this strategy, and a little bit too slow.
I haven't added invigorate yet because it's not modern, but I'll add it since it is so nice in this deck

0
Posted 07 May 2014 at 03:06

why not? you have a lot of pumps and enchantments.... aqueous form, rancor, ancestral mask....... are invigorate + rancor + ancestral mask...... Note as well that it is "+2/+2 for each enchantment in play" (not under your control). Therefore this could scale even greater once instants resolve.

In a casual multiplayer environment this has proved deadly....

0
Posted 07 May 2014 at 20:20

Might would consider putting in the Sideboard for multiplayer games. But in single player games, one on one, the idea is to use Instants to pump up your creature for a lethal attack. Groundswell, Invigorate, Mutagenic Growth, and Might of Old Krosa are usually the green spells played.

But maybe you are right, Ancestral Mask may just could work in this deck because it is Enchantment heavy.

Should I cut mutagenic growth for groundswell?

0
Posted 07 May 2014 at 12:23

Honestly Barracuda, I can't decide. Since you only need 10 total poison counters....Groundswell seems amazing! But Mutagenic Growth is also amazing in that you can be tapped out of mana AND still use it.

That one is totally your call.

Good luck.
