Deck Description

We dont have eldrazi temple or eye of ugin but we do have inspiring statuary. Im really trying out statuary everywhere i can and this feels like a good fit as the improvise mechanic allows you to tap artifacts for colorless mana so everything is reduced. Decided to go RB becasue of unlicensed disintegration, kills everything and has added reach. you also get Obligator out of the board

Deck discussion for B/R Eldrazi Statuary

I like the idea, but I don't think you've got enough artifacts, I want to say cutting the 2 Conduits and an Ulamog, then something else for 4 Metallic Mimics, setting them to eldrazi seems really powerful here and ups your artifact count, while adding more threats to your curve. Same goes for maybe including Walking Ballista maybe over some of the puzzle knots, which feel relatively weak.

I would also play Fatal Push over shock, deals with more threats then shock would, and I don't think this deck is thinking of throwing a shock into someone's face.

Another idea being mostly colorless, adding more utility lands such as Sea gate Wreckage, Ruins of Oran Reif (I believe that's the name), and even Hanweir Battlements or Spawning Bed. There is no dedicated land hate in standard so maximizing on utility lands makes flooding alot less bad.

from testing this the artifact count feels like it will be the bare minimum you can run only becasue the 2cmc artifacts count for 2 artifact because they make a servo.

I have been trying to find room for the mimic, but i had to add more lands as i kept missing land drops and the deck really needs to hit lands the first 3-4 turns specifically.Mimic would fit the curve perfectly though

I agree fatal push would be better main then i can slot in the 3rd and 4th out of the board, very smart. Conduit is a cheap tutor for ulamog and more cost reduction for creatures. I think i could cut 1 ulamog but he jsut wins the game almost on the spot and kozilek has over preformed in this aggressive shell which is surprising since he is the least played of the 3 titans. guess i empty my hand quick so the draw is good, and i have enough low drops that it makes his counterspell ability useful

I considered walking balista but since its an artifact i cannot improvise artifact so it didnt seem as good

Your land Idea is very smart, i will have to consider more interesting lands like Mortuary Mire to put a creature back on top of the library or Ruins of Oran-Rief to pump up my creatures, i just wanna make sure i have my colors asap. i love love the haste land though (battlements?) so sick with any creature. Cause this deck floods at 25 lands and i miss tons of land drops at 24 lands so im stuck

Mire is probably not worth coming into play tapped, but alot of the colorless ones from Bfz block and Battlements are great inclusions. I just like Ballista as a T2 play that can tap for improvise and act as early removal or another mana sink.

You don't need to improvise Ballista for it to be good, you just play it and tick it up as time goes on.
