I swapped out a banner and 3 rat colony for 4 typhoid. The turn 1 deathtouch is a nice deterrent. Good protection early game.

Great idea with rat colony! Completely overlooked that. Plague has been a very fun card in the deck. Big mana cost but in a stalemate scenario, it normally wins me the game. The deck produces enough life that the negative effect of plague has not been a bother.. also, when my opponent opts to create tokens, the banners gives me an advantage with power and toughness.
This deck has been pretty consistent when I have used it. For the cost it is a great deck to pick up and play.
Swapped drudge for rimebound. Also switched lands to snow covered. I'm going to leave sanitarium skeleton over reassembling skeleton since cast costs are low and I want to be casting to help raise obelisk of urd. Thanks for the suggestion! I do want to keep it modern legal for now.
After playing this deck in a few casual games I have had decent success. A 3rd turn crypt ghast was devastating. It resulted in a life's finale wiping the board and Liliana returning all creatures back to my side of the field..at which point all my opponents quit the game.

The deck is slow, went heavy on mana to help prevent missing a drop. The myr is a small attempt to gain a little speed and a early blocker if necessary. Burn decks will be a problem. The deck however was made for a free for all style game. 1v1 it has its flaws. I honestly wanted a way to use rise of the dark realms. I could swap to smaller faster creatures for early game but against something like a burn deck, I won't benefit from their graveyard. Any opinions on improvement is appreciated.
