Needs more Valakut. Seriously though, I ran a similar deck when i first started playing EDH, once my friends realized what I was up to with my low creature count, I got attacked early and often. Your creatures are probably better than what I was running, though. You probably need something else to draw cards aside from Browbeat- when you've gone through your initial 10 cards or so and are stuck topdecking your opponents will just gain a bunch of ground (and possibly life)... Why is Book burning in there? Just for punisher funsies? Lava blister is probably more useful, since milling 6 doesn't really hurt anyone.

I figured that, but instead of a card whose sole purpose is to be another card, shouldn't you just play something that you actually want? :/
okay, I don't get it. Why Street Wraith?
Groupthink is a thing... There's also a finite number of "useful" combinations (read as: all the most efficient cards or cards that do something exploitable), so not only is there bound to be overlap (as opposed to plagiarism, because I'm guessing that the intent to steal a decent idea is not really motivating anyone) but there's also the fact like Puschkin said, decknames are weird and not really illustrative of what the deck does... I've been thinking of getting into Modern and came up with a Death and Taxes style deck without knowing what Death and Taxes even *was*- I just started looking for cards that made it hard for opponents to do things. Anyhow, I try to avoid the "Hot" page and look at Unloved decks, personally. I'm only on this one now because I wanted to see what the combo with Shared Fate was.
Thinker, this is the first time I've ever seen it. The combo, I mean. *shrug* I went and read Puschkin's list as well after I saw that he had made one, if that matters.
This is so great. If there were a way to make it Modern-viable, I'd try building it.
what makes a deck more fun for you?If it were me, I would pick slivers with activated abilities (not a lot of options in these colors; you'll probably want to look into red or black) or play instants so you'd have something to do when it's not just your main or combat phases. You might want to fix your lands as well- even if you're trying to keep it budget, a few evolving wilds/terramorphic expanse/krosan verge would help you get that forest so you can play that gemhide sliver.
Seconded. Especially in a format like Modern where decks are classified by the number of turns they take to win... You might want to try some kind of devotion shenanigans with Leatherback Baloth, that 3/3 beast for GG, stuff like that, maybe? Though I don't know how it would shape up against some of the other decks in the format without ways to disrupt combo decks and its lack of reach via burn...
Looks like you'll need more mana to cast your win conditions (playing Blightsteel off of 20 lands seems like a bit of a stretch, even with Cloud Key and Sculptor), much less protect Mishra while you get there...
I like the idea, and the fact that it's so cheap makes me want to play it. Comments: 4x Hydra Broodmaster seems a bit much- you're not always going to want it in your hand, esp if you're trying to draw cards off of your Gilt-leaf... Also, Honored Hierarch doesn't seem quite as effective as something that gives you mana without having to attack- it's small and kind of useless in the mid-to-late game when you're trying to go off, except as another druid to cast. I'd replace it with Heritage Druid, considering the critical mass of Elves you've got going on; you can keep playing elves till you get enough druids out (though I realize that it will require you to tap them). Something like Quest for Renewal could work with that strategy.
I hadn't considered that, most of them minus themselves to deal with other permanents... but i guess if you can Call up an Ugin or Tamiyo you might be okay... Tezzeret is just there to find MIrror Gallery?
It's an interesting start, but it seems fragile. What's to stop your walkers from getting run over by creatures?
I am disappointed at the lack of bananas in this deck.Training Grounds seems like it's not really necessary, Tasigur's the only creature with an activated ability, so IMHO you'll be pitching (and delving) it more often than not, but I could be wrong.
Damping Matrix? Shuts down Top and most relevant commander abilities, though it turns off your equipment too...
Looks good, my only suggestion would be to add a bit more ramp to power your X spells... but I'm also wondering why is Skullclamp in there?
Fair enough.No cancels?
Why thought scour? It doesn't look like you're trying to win by milling... You could play Opt or Ponder and get a card that way, too.
